 This method statement explains the planned and safe execution

procedures for the servicing and final closer for AMINAT AMONIA
TOWER T-1220.

Contents

1. RESPONSIBILITES:

 Project Manager: Shall be responsible for overall implementation of the

company safety & quality plan and ensure efficient execution of works
in accordance with project manager.

 QC Manager- : Shall oversee all the activities, whether all are

executed as per the quality planned project specifications.

 HSSE Manager- Shall make sure that all the safety requirements are
fulfilled by daily basis in order to avoid any loss of time.

 HSSE Supervisor- Shall carry out risk assessments and consider how
risk could be reduced and also carry out regular site inspections to
check policies & procedures are being properly implemented.

 Qc Supervisor: Shall ensure that all records pertaining to the

particular works are maintained and accepted by CONTRACTOR/
COMPANY
 QC Inspector- Shall ensure that all works are carried out as per IFC
drawings, project specifications and standards and he have to
coordinate inspection as per ITP with CLIENTQC inspectors for
inspection.

- Materials Storage and Handling.

 The tower packing ring and stricter materials shall be shifted to

AMINAT lay down yard for the cleaning.
 Ensure that all materials are secured followed by AMINAT HSE
policy.

7.2 PREPARATION FOR REPAIR WORK

 Scaffolding must be installed for blinding activity prior to shut down.

 Security gate pass is require to enter the vehicle , materials and
manpower.
 Dump truck and Fork lift must be available one day before prior to start
the activity.
 Proper lighting must be arranged to work round the clock.

 All the blinds including one gasket must be placed on each and every
blind location.
 Shift the complete tools trolley one day before start the shutdown.
 Confine space training as per HSE policy of all the work man to be done
prior to start the internal activity inside the tower.
 Trained and certified whole watchman and fire watch to be arrange
before opening the manhole.
 Certified crane and operator must be available one day before start the
activity.
 Proper placement of crane near the work location followed by its
degree, angle, radius, boom length and capacity to be check one day
before start the activity.
 Certified rigger level 3 must be arranged in both the shift.

 All rigging equipment used for the lifting will have a valid test
certificate
 All rigging equipment shall be visually inspected by the rigging
supervisor and Subcontractor safety personnel during assembly to
assure that no damage has occurred and having required color
code.

7. 4 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

 Follow work permit instructions

 Transport safety as per RC standard.
 No hot work to be carried out.
 Use appropriate respiratory and hand gloves.

5. 5 HOUSE KEEPING

 Maintain good housekeeping all the time.

 Proper material stacking / arrangement.
 Remove unnecessary material from site.
 Assign helpers for regular housekeeping.
 Housekeeping shall be done before, during and after the job
completion.
