ACTIVITY # 3
MORAL OBJECTIVISM

What are the characteristic of a “good” person? Explain.

A good person is someone that is charitable‚ honest‚ and moral. Regardless of the consequences of their actions, a
good person always seeks to do the right thing. They treat everyone the same, regardless of their differences from
others. They treat everyone equally. They do not pass judgment on others based on their living situations. A good
person is someone who you can rely on to be truthful. The truth may not always be what people want to hear, but
a good person would tell the truth.

What are the characteristic of a “bad” person? Explain.

Bad person isn’t concerned with hurting anyone’s feelings. They are too focused on themselves to worry about
someone else, even the people that care about them. If the conversation isn’t focused on them, there’s no
interest. They don’t like to admit when they are wrong. Even when it’s clear that they’ve made a mistake, a negative
person will blame others for something that is really their fault. They also believe that the world owes them
something. They think that if they’re having a bad day, everyone else should cater to them. They let their negative
feelings and poor attitude drive them daily. Basically, bad person is selfish, they enjoy the misfortune of others.

What situations in your experience bring out the “bad” person in you? Explain.

The bad person that I encountered, and I seriously don’t want her in my life is my ex best friend in junior high school.
She looks so innocent and calm, but she does everything so secretly that no one can believe. She is a great drama
artist. She is the worst person having good person mask on her face. She has two faces, one which everyone sees
innocent, decent and good. The other one is cunning drama artist thief selfish money minded girl. And the worst part,
I have seen so many times she is taking off money to our circle of friends. She used to play great drama in front of
our friends as if she is very lovable caring and as if she is suffering. She is the worst person I met in my life.

What situations/scenarios/qualities of a person in your experience make a person “bad” but have “good intention”
or “good outcome”? Explain.

I experienced this kind situation with my high school classmates. We always help each other in cheating just to pass
the exams. Basically, we push each other to do evil thing. We all know that cheating is unethical because it is not fair
to the other students who study hard just to pass the exams. So, it is really inappropriate and illegal to cheat on exam.
But, we can’t deny that there is a good outcome when we do cheating, like getting a high grades even it is evil.
