Progress Report for the Guided Research Investigation on Growth and Yield Performance of
Mungbean using Organic Fertilizer with Microbial Inoculant

I.
 I followed the steps attached on how to make my own Indigenous Microorganism (IMO).
 I gathered chicken manure from our chickens pens and asked for carbonized rice hull and mud
pressed from our neighbor.
 I prepared the organic fertilizer made from chicken manure, carbonized rice hull and mud press
with IMO as directed on the preparation of organic fertilizers with microbial inoculant.
 I prepared 12 seed bags for the for treatments that will be replicated thrice.
 I began to put garden soil and organic fertilizers according to the treatment directions.
 I planted the mung bean seeds as directed and watered it every morning and before sundown.
 I placed my plants in our backyard where there is enough sunlight for the day.

II.
 Our pets meddled with my plants. Our dogs and chickens tried to play with it.
 Organic fertilizers like carbonized rice hull and mud press are not easily available.

III.
 I put up net fence around my plants so that our pest will not play and destroy it.
 Prepare the needed materials ahead of time or always have some stock of the different
materials needed like the organic fertilizers.
