ANALYSIS

1. What is the difference between TM 1 and TM 2?

The Trainers Methodology Level I consists of competencies a TVET trainer or assessor must achieve,
such as plan training sessions, facilitate learning sessions, supervise work-based learning, conduct
competency assessment, maintain training facilities and utilize electronic media in facilitating training
while the Trainers Methodology Level II consists of competencies a TVET trainer or technical trainer
performing function as training designer/developer must achieve. assessor must achieve, including
conduct of training needs analysis, develop training curriculum, develop learning materials, develop
competency assessment tools, design and develop maintenance system, and develop learning materials
for eLearning.

2. What is the connection of TM II to Curriculum Development?

For me, the connection of TM II to Curriculum Development is that TM II serve as the guide to enhance
and improve the features of related skills, training or programs that can help the facilitator or trainor to
achieve their needed standards at a certain programs that they will teach in their students. Aside from
that, TM II or the Trainers Methodology II has the main functions to achieve which is to achieve as
training designer/developer. It is important that curriculum development is included to have an
attachment process in TM II, without it the content of trainers methodology II and curriculum is nothing
and useless. So that, it has a vital role why curricul development has a connection to enhancing and
improving programs in a curriculum and trainers methodology II which one of the reason I think is that
subject is very near from our course to achieve in the end while we are an educators someday.
