10. The cost ($C) of making a spherical souvenir varies directly as the square of its diameter (d cm). It
is given that the cost of making a spherical souvenir of diameter 15 cm is $100.
(a) Express C in terms of d.

(c) Should David sell a spherical souvenir of radius 12 cm at $250 if he wants to make a profit?

15. There are 20 boys and 10 girls in a class. 8 students are randomly selected to form a class
committee.
