ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

This paper and the research behind it would not have been possible without the
exceptional support of Ms. Mary Chrizel Ann Diamante. Her enthusiasm, knowledge and
exacting attention to detail have been an inspiration and kept our work on track from our first
encounter with the chapter 1 Background of the study to the final draft of this paper. We thank
you for the comments and guidance that greatly improved the manuscript.

We would like to show our gratitude to the 50 respondents in this study for sharing their
time and opinion for this research study.

We are also grateful for the insightful comments offered by the members. The generosity and
knowledge of one and all have improved this study in innumerable ways and saved us from
many errors; those that inevitably remain are entirely our own responsibility.

Finally, we thank our parents for their support and encouragement throughout our study
ABSTRACT

The main purpose of this study was to define the impact of "Online Learning Mode" on the
psychological aspects of college students.

This study aims to address the following problems:

1. What is the opinion of students on the factors of the online learning mode?

2. What is the effect of the online learning mode on the psychological aspect of the student?

3. What is the opinion of the respondents about the way online learning affects the
psychological aspect of the student?

To achieve the answer to the following questions, the respondents used the "Ground Theory,"
where the ideas, views, and opinions of respondents were gathered to come up with an answer.
The approach used in data collection is in the form of a survey or questionnaire created by
researchers. Survey results were analyzed by frequency and percentage distribution. Based on the
findings of the study, the following conclusions are drawn:

1. Students' opinions on the simplicity of the online learning mode. They are equipped with
technology and have moderate connection speeds on the Internet. Sometimes they just
learn lessons, but sometimes it is difficult to do those assigned tasks. The family member
causes distraction to them. Whenever the online learning mode is used

2. The online learning mode has a negative impact on the psychological aspects of students.

3. Students' opinions on the impact of the online learning mode In the psychological sphere,
it is in the way students lose appetite for learning, feeling depressed, difficulty sleeping,
and also comes at a time when self-confidence decreases, leaving one always
embarrassed. In addition, the students are also forcing themselves, so they also feel
"mental breakdown."
