00:04:56 - Veganism has become a hot topic in the past few

01:31:00 years and has grown in popularity. When doing
my research i quickly came to realise that it is Presenter (me) on screen
impossible to get an exact number of people who
are on a vegan diet. I did however find out that in
2020 there was a 40% growth and since then it
has only risen.
I wanted to find out more about this topic and
hear from two sides of the argument. With more
and more people turning vegan, this obviously is
going to have effects on meat, dairy, and clothing
companies and so I wanted to find out more.

As I’m sure lots of you watching are aware, vegan

protests are becoming a lot more common to
see. Does it ever go too far? With vegans turning
to breaking into farms and damaging farmers
property, is this wrong? What do the farmers
think of this? And is this just a small majority of
vegans, are there different opinions

I also wanted to discover false rumours if there

are any. Is a vegan diet all healthy like it’s made
to be, are farmers trying their best? That is what
we will find out.

I spoke to some teenagers to see their opinions

on the controversy of being vegan. Whilst
planning to do this, I did find it hard to find
teenagers who are on a vegan diet more seemed
to be on a vegetarian diet if any.
