Surveys may not get enough responses Spread them around on social media

Focus groups may not be talkative Help each other, do multiple ones with
different people

Surveys may not reach the right target Send it directly to some or on platforms you
audience know they will be most likely to see it

There may not be something I can find I will talk to people face to face

So far one of my main issues has been finding interviewees and my solution to this has
been just emailing as many people as I can but whilst also ensuring that they are suitable
and knowledgeable.

End of project review

Now it’s the end of my project and I have had a few problems along the way that have
thankfully been resolved. The first problem came across was sound during my interview
with Kevin. It was loud in the restaurant with kids and music in the background, of course
this was expected and planned to be a possible issue, so I did bring a lav mic to be
connected to Kevin. This worked well, the sound is very clear you can hear him well. The
only issue I had from this was that you couldn’t hear me through the lav mic as I was too
far away from it for my voice to be picked up. I tried to use my voice asking the questions
through the cameras mic but it was too loud and a really not nice sound. My solution to
this was typing the questions out onto the screen, I edited this so the letters came out one
by one and downloaded a typewriter sound as I thought it would make it more exciting.
I travelled down to Brighton to do filming for B-Roll but it ended up not being great at all
with the locations not being how they seemed online and also lots of the cafes and
restaurants I wanted to go to being closed. My solution to this has been to leave this
section out completely and go on a different route.
When it came to editing, I didn’t have any major problems which I am happy about, one
thing I should’ve done was given even more time than I did have to edit. I don’t like
leaving my edits half done meaning sometimes it takes me longer to do so giving me less
time to finish everything. I submitted what I had on the first deadline day and once I had
my feedback was able to complete my edit completely.
