1. Which general or world view philosophy best fits with your own views of reality? Why?

Existentialism is the philosophy of world view that best fits my own views of reality because it claims that the essence of reality is subjective

and that it rests on the individual.Anything that can be made real by human decisions is truth and reality. There are more idea of common reality there are

many of you are like me those who don’t are labeled crazy. There is a crazy that can be tested in psychiatry and there is a “CRAZY” that some religious

fanatics/atheist have, that cannot be tested.

2. What have you learned from the history of education that is related to these metaphysical philosophies?

I learned from the history of education is provides a base for educational thought by establishing knowledge, truths and values as
ontological realities whose nature must be understood to understand its place in educational matters.

3. It is said that an image is worth a thousand words. What might be your image metaphor for each of these world or metaphysical
philosophies?
Its paints or implies what the two have in common. If a picture is a thousand words then it also must be said a thousand words creates a
picture if written well. A metaphor states that one thing another thing it equates those two things not because they actually are same symbolism.
It is a figure of speech that describes an object or action in a way that isn’t literally true.

4. Based on the lesson on symbolic-interactionist theory and the movie, The Little Prince, what does this quote mean: “Words are a
source of misunderstanding.” Any personal message? Write it down.
That is why words can become a source if misunderstanding that may result in conflicts. Research on more school practices based on the
functionalist theory, conflict, and symbol interaction theory.

5. Explain how schools can help counteract the negative traits of Filipinos.
Schools need to get guidance from an institution for seminars and workshops. Schools should not tolerate it. They need to changes the stigma that the
weakness of filipino characters is acceptable by making it aware to the students that these traits can be improved
