OLD BUSINESS

Grange membership and recruitment: Barry and members present expressed the
desire for the Redlands [Mesa community to become involved with the Redlands lVtesa
Grange (RIUG) and to make it their own by sharing how they would like to see the
grange serye the community. Andy stated that he has 156 email addresses that he
sends RIVIG communications to via tMail Chimp. Mail Chimp protects email recipient's
email addresses from being shared. Mail Chimp revealed only 35 of the 156 email
recipients opened the last communication. Barry suggested using the signpost along
the roadway at the grange to welcome community to use Rtvlc 487 facilities. Awareness
of what RN/IG has to offer could be done via brochures, Redlands lt4esa Message
Board, Facebook, Weebly Web Site, Walmart and Shopper. Jean suggested including a
request for volunteerism on the next membership form and to have a potluck to bring
members together and solicit input for what attendees want for their grange. Barry will
obtain member list and contact information from CJ and/or Chris to facilitate knowing
who members are and how best to contact members. Annual membership cost is $62
per person.

Barry will obtain job descriptions for Grange lvlaster, treasurer, and secretarial positions
for Andy to post on the Grange email and ask for interested parties to respond. Tammy
lMarty said she is willing to become a member and submit an offer to be treasurer. For
members without emails, Andy suggested communications via USPS. Once candidates
are recruited, it is hoped that the whole membership, not just those in meeting
attendance, could be solicited for their votes on the candidates and for how they would
like the Grange to serve the community.

Andy stated that there is a need for documented, secure, consistent record keeping via
hard copy and electronic (USB, thumb drive or cloud) means.

Barry will contact Robbie Winne concerning an independent audit of RtvlG books and
financial records. Once an independent audit has been obtained, bonding of board
L members needs to be done.
