 I. RATIONALE

Our group are given the task to do a resilience livelihood development to

a barangay . So we plan to do is the crochet making for girls and youth.

Before that is the meaning of what we are going to do . Crochet is a

process of creating textiles by using a crochet hook to interlock loops yarn,
thread, or standards of other materials. The name is derived from the French
term crochet , meaning “small hook”. Hooks can be made from a variety of
materials , such as metal , wood , bamboo, or plastic.

LTP -Livelihood Training Program is about A person's livelihood (derived

from life-lode, "way of life" refers to their "means of securing the basic necessities
(food, water, shelter and clothing) of life". Livelihood is defined as a set of
activities essential to everyday life that are conducted over one's life span.

We are going to do a face to face orientation in our project proposal .

we observe the basic proper protocol to avoid any circumstances or problem.
There are going to do lecturing about how to make crochet while other members
will be performing an actual sample of crochet and some are going to take picture
for documentation .We are providing materials in crochet making like yarns ,
crochet hooks, and others.

The respondents are having a chance to learn by attending our

orientation. This will serve as their new knowledge and a new addiction. This
activity will divert their mind from their problems and it can also become a source
of income. The LPT – Livelihood training program can be life-changing for others,
we never know, it can comfort depressed people and save them from drowning in
the dark. It also can be the start of your success.

ll. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

LTP (Livelihood Training Program )

- A livelihood program that seeks knowledge about the making process of a
livelihood activity. This knowledge can make you more open to a business
career , and it also helps you personally and mentally by giving you
hobbies that distract you from hardships in life . One of the benefits of
this crochet making is you can be able to have a source of income ,
especially in this situation that we have a pandemic. Making something
with your hands also boosts self – esteem. There are many days when
illness leaves you feeling worthless. Whether it’s depression , chronic pain
or just a cold that’s been hanging frustrating to feel like you can’t do
 anything productive . Crochet is a craft that you can do from your bed
with limited energy . And yet, crochet allows you to create beautiful ,
functional items that you can use, gift or sell. You don’t have a reason to
crochet other than the fact that you enjoy it. Nevertheless , it feels good
to know that there are many excellent benefits to the craft.

lll. OBJECTIVES
The Project Proposal aims:
1. Showcase our historic collection of knitted and crocheted items ,
thousands of patterns , and artifacts.

2. Help knitters and crocheters everywhere to learn more about the traditions
and techniques of their crafts so that they can develop their skills.

3. Inspire our member to try new ways of knitting and crochet, create their
own special pieces, and get involved with us in the guild.

4. Knitting and crocheting decrease stress and anxiety, aids in mindful

breathing , and makes you feel productive.

5. Crocheting and knitting reduces the risk of alzheimer’s and also give sense
of community.

lV. STRATEGIES AND METHODOLOGIES

A. Procedures
1 .Prepare communications to secure approval for the above mentioned
purposes.

2. Formulate time table of the activities.

3. Identify the respondents of youth in barangay siembre bombon.

4. Formulate and prepare materials needed in the conduct of the activities.
