created and nurtured me in this world.

Immersion teacher because of his genuine guidance, supervision, and excellent
suggestions, I was able to successfully complete this work immersion program.

Thirdly, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my mother for her support
in giving me motivation to finish this Work Immersion Portfolio. Mrs. Stella Virtucio, my
ever loving and supportive mother, who has always been by my side when I needed her
the most. Lastly, thank you to my capstone paper partner Kaira Branzuela for her

Part 1: IMPORTANT POINTS IN WORK IMMERSION

INTRODUCTION

Work immersion is a great opportunity for Senior High School students to experience a
real-world workplace that exposes and familiarizes them with work-related
environments. In my own point of view, Work Immersion Program define by allowing
Senior High School student to be exposed in a real world of work.

As a student, this program will help me about the proper workplace ethics, workplace
safety, employees’ rights and responsibilities, and teamwork skills, along with other
aspects. Work Immersion is one of the courses that the Senior High School student can
take to achieve their graduation. Apart from fulfilling a course requirement for
graduation, Work Immersion Program experience has proven to be quite beneficial to
Senior High School students.

Senior High School students should have a work immersion program since it can help
the them in a variety of ways. To start, students can learn relevant and skills from the
different field of works. Second, it emphasizes the students value of understanding and
applying the principles and concepts learned from the school. Third, it improves their
knowledge and skills by requiring them to do a task within the workplace to which they
have been assigned. Lastly, since they'll be working with company employer and
employees, it will improve their communication skills and social interaction.

As a Senior High School student, being involve in a Work Immersion Program is an


excellent experience to allow myself to become familiar with the workplace, employee’s
responsibilities, and actions within a specific field in a real-world setting. Through Work
Immersion, we are exposed and become familiar with work-relevant environments
pertaining to different field. Furthermore, under the supervision of employer and
professionals, Senior High School students are able to obtain relevant and practical
skills.

OBJECTIVES OF THE WORK IMMERSION
 To improve communication skills and establish positive relationships
with others.
 To become familiar with different setting.
 To experience the real world of work.
 To acquire particular skills
 To develop practical skills

Life goals are things you want to do one day but can't be happen right now. In
order for you to make it happen one day, you must adapt yourself to a new
approach. I was able to achieve my goals by putting big efforts and expanding
my experiences. As a result, I have observed a significant improvement,
particularly in the areas where I am weak. We should keep working until we
perceive progress in order to reach our objectives, so we really should work
further to achieve our goals.

VALUES AND ATTRIBUTES OF A STUDENT


IN A WORK IMMERSION
I gained a lot of knowledge of academic stuff in school that enlightened me, but
when I totally immersed myself in Work Immersion Program. I have learned a lot
that I know this will be come to reality in my real-world workplace soon. During
my Work Immersion, I learned the following values and attributes:

Working on our Capstone Project Proposal has been a challenging, but also a great

learning experience. There were factors that play key roles in study which I had never

thought that would be included. I have discovered different concerns related to our

Capstone Project. Consequently, it is significant to look and clean our surroundings since

our actions have consequences. So, we should not just ignore. Furthermore, I have

found out that our respondents are hopeful to have improvement regarding to their

concerns. Throughout this project, I have been able to appreciate more the effort in

making our capstone project.
