To save meaningful and memorable moments between teachers and students, from November 15th to
November 30th, 2021, Van Lang University organized a photo contest on Van Lang University Instagram
with the theme "My Beloved Teacher" and was responded by the student community to share many
moments with teachers.

Happy Vietnamese Teacher's Day, Van Lang Student Magazine chose to repost some images of "My
Beloved Teacher" that Van Lang students have posted on Instagram in the past 2 weeks.

"Having a young head teacher is something wonderful. At the beginning of the first year, when I did not
know the faces of friends, teachers, from far distance, I looked at the class door and seeing a young "male
friend" sitting on the teacher's table. It wasn't until I entered the class that I was surprised when I found out
it was my head teacher. He’s too young, so I did misunderstand."

"This photo bellow’s from 2 classes K24PR11 - K24PR12 in the class of MC, Actor Le Minh Ngoc - lecturer in
the Art of Public Speaking in the first semester. To be honest, I am afraid of this subject, because I am shy,
so the score of this subject is only good. But then I gradually became more confident, learning to talk more.
If I had learned this class again, I would have done it a lot better."

"When I was a freshman, I was selected to record a Vlog introducing the PR Department, I was lucky to
work with Admissions & Communication department. This is truly an unforgettable experience with me.
Everything is planned very quickly but everyone all tries to finish the work happily. After completing the
Vlog, they have always encouraged me to receive the feedback of the media release. They as well as the
teachers teach me a lot of things."

"It's never wrong to say, "When you go to school, the teacher is like a good mother." When we were
freshman, we were so shy to make friends with everyone, but thanks to her encouragement, even she did
organize games so that everyone could get to know each other. Even though I am in 2 nd year, but the first
lessons with Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Lien – lecturer in Communication Skills, I still remember in my heart."

"Time is like a silent instrumental song. It comes and goes, leaving in us memories that are forever
inconsolable. It also left me with a void, a feeling that no one could fill. Rarely has a teacher made me feel
as special as Mr. Cho – a lecturer in Vietnamese practice. Not only because he was always courteous and
close to students, but also every time I studied with him, I felt like I was returning to my high school time."

“Teacher Le Quoc Dung taught me to sing with passion, serious and respect for music. There is a
coincidence for me is a predestined, teacher and I shared the same birthday. This is a photo taken on April
27, the day of the teacher and student's birthday. Wishing everyone good health to return to school. Miss
Van Lang, miss everyone so much!"

“스승의 날 축하드립니다. 사랑으로 이끌어 주신 선생님 감사합니다. “우리선생님 최고!” (Happy
Teacher's Day. Thank you for your dedication to guiding me. My teacher is the best!" She is Korean,
because of her career as a teacher and the desire to bring knowledge of Korea, so she came to Vietnam. It’s
very difficult for a foreign teacher understand Vietnamese students, isn’t it?"

"Short time but long memories. This is the photo that me and the whole Communication Skills class 03 with
Ms. Lan Chi have saved during the first 2 years at Van Lang University. A skill class normally will be few
students but not so boring and quiet. My class was guided by Ms. Lan Chi has become one of my favorite
classes and leaves many memories."

"Lovely moment of Mr. Vo Dinh Cao Nguyen - mentor of our MARK02-K27 class. He’s very funny and
enthusiastic. Thank you for sharing with us the useful things. I hope he keeps the “fire of the profession” for
a long time. Thank you."

"I don't wish you luck because I believe you can do it. The 1st semester of the 2nd year was the time when I
learned the most things, especially the PR subject of Ms. Vo Hong Hanh. She is super cute and very caring
with students. Thanks to meeting her, I have gained a lot of motivation, helping me to become much more
confident and trusting myself."
