Manager: My Team’s Time and Absence

The Time and Absence Dashboard is an application available to managers on the Workday
Homepage. From this application, you can view and approve timesheets; as well as manage time-
off requests for your direct reports including correcting time off and placing employees on leave.

TEAM TIME
All employees are responsible for entering time worked daily and submitting their time worked for
validation and approval bi-weekly. While individual employee time sheets route to your Inbox,
team time can be reviewed from the Time and Absence application.

Managers can view their team members’ entered time by date.

From the home landing page, select the icon

2. The Review Time page appears; enter a start date.

• The Date filed defaults to today. To approve a

different day or pay period, change the date as
needed.

checked by default. If you want to see all
employees rolling up to you, uncheck this box
and select the employees under Workers.
What Is This

• Under Show, choose one of the options:

o All Workers – to see all employees
regardless of whether they have approved,
submitted or unsubmitted hours.
o Workers with Hours to Approve – to see
only employees who have submitted their
hours and you need to approve time.
o Workers with Unsubmitted Hours – to
see employees who have not submitted
their time. The manager can use this
