Sun Task 2: Animal testing useful for protecting rare animals. Discuss
Sep 1st PM. In the fast-paced changing world, there both views and give your opinion
exists a wide range of ethical dilemmas / an
increasing number of controversial issues,
including animal testing. I personally believe
that experiments on animals are a
necessary practice because of three main
reasons: human safety, environmental
factors and medical advance.

One argument in favour of in vivo testing is

for the sake of human beings. If drugs were
tested on people, we would not know for
sure whether they can survive or suffer from
the side effects. Thus, using animals such
as fish, rats, mice or amphibians is of great
significance. One example is that polio
vaccine, which reduced 350,000 disease /
infection cases in 1988 to 27 cases in 2016,
could not be invented without experiments
on lab animals.

CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS :

Critical thinking makes you analyze your thinking and make some evidence or question to criticize the idea.
This skill is so important for you and your job, especially in management, economy, researching and education.
Firstly, when you enjoy a debate, criticizing can make you expand the information about those problems that
you can solve it clearly. Secondly, these skills can improve your communication and presentation skills. The
way you think systematically can improve the way you talk and express your idea. Finally, critical thinking can
bring you creativity. Resolving the problems in a different way by putting a different eye on is so effective and
make a lot of efforts. To sump up, people should have critical thinking skills so as to improve and make your
brain more creative.

WRITING TASK 1

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make

comparisons where relevant.

Write at least 150 words.

Vocabulary

WRITING TASK 2
Thành to redo the test here.

In today’s world, some people believe that more research into the family history
should be investigated. Besides, others hold the idea that our present and future life
condition must be our priority. This essay will discuss both views in more details.
On the one hand, researching into the history owns some benefits. Firstly,
discovering our ancestors can effectively prevent unexpected factors, especially some
inherited diseases such as cancer or laukemia,... Secondly, we’ll feel proud of our
family’s background while we look back to our family culture and even widen our
knowledge about our ancestor’s olden time. For instance, knowing your ancestor was a
great commander in the army and discussing this topic with your friends will
immensely be an interesting point.
On the other hand, concentrating on the present and future condition still owns
many advantages. First of all, the modern society will turn young generation into the
future of their families. Living in the place where everybody is open-minded and
children are well-educated may develop their thoughts, lifestyles and their points of
view. For example, the children who live in the big city can make a better choice
depending on their parents than most children living in rural areas. Second, the facts in
the past are believed to be unchanged; therefore, the present and future should be
prioritized. As an illustration, one of my ancestors was imprisoned by the french and I
can’t even do any research in order to change it.
To sump up, both ideas obtain their own benefits for the young generation. In my
points of view, I will choose the second ideas because almost my friends and I want to
live in a modern and integrating society so as to pursue our career favourably.
Comment:
- The structure is ways much better.
