1. For me the supposed to be conversing in the poem are the mother and child while facing
a lovely view of a sea. It depicts the mother and child relationship as mother feeds the
curiosity of his child.
2. Optimistic; laugh and joys
Sad; sob and sorrow
Calm; peaceful and comfort
3. Yes, I think that the sea has moods too. when it is sunny, I think the sea is happy or in a
bright mood too. whenever it is cloudy, I think the sea is lonely too. And when the
weather is stormy, that causes big waves of the sea I think the sea is angry.
4. I want to characterize the child as an innocent human being, and the mother as an
empowered human being because of her wisdom to feed the curiosity of her child. Their
attitude towards the sea is hopeful, they may see the sea laugh and sob but they also
consider that the sea is peaceful at it gives comfort.
5. The theme of the poem is to interpret the sea as an alternative human language. The sea is
likened to the human and human emotions. I think the poem want to tell us taht
“Happiness is free and inevitable, yet we may choose to surrender to God and be hopeful
in His calmness and peace”.

- These symbols tend to interpret how marriage is.
It shows love and excitement to be married. This poem
also shows how beautiful love is. It shows how can it be
so exciting to be in love and get married. And to be with
someone for a lifetime.
