CHAPTER 1

Introduction and General Information

In this document we will deal with two interesting topics, such as the formation of adverbs

from adjectives, the use of Since and For and finally how to describe a subject. We will do it

through a questionnaire where there will be an open response, multiple choice, ordering and true

and false questions.

Activity

SINCE AND FOR

1. In what cases should you use SINCE?

a. Indicate the beginning of a period that is still present.

b. To indicate something that happened or happened in the past on a regular basis.

c. To indicate habitual actions in the present.

2. In what cases should you use For?

a. It is mostly used to express ability or possibility.

b. When talking about a period.

c. to express possibilities and ask or make requests in a formal tone.

Solve questions 3,4 with the following text

“Since November of two thousand twenty I went to de doctor to see If my heart was beating as

the correct way, I stayed at here for two-three hours. I get happy 'Cause, my heart was beating

as the correct way.But the doctor Said I have to go in three more months, for 1 hour, just to see

ADVERBS MODIFYING ADJECTIVES AND VERBS

In questions 1 and 2, they are open questions:

1. In most cases an adverb is formed by adding an adverbial ending to the adverb, what is

this?

2. What is the adverb that corresponds to the adjective good?

Rta=is the adverb well.

Conclusion

In conclusion we can say that it is an activity that stimulates learning a lot, and the use of

Since and Ford is clearer, as well as how an adverb is formed from an adjective and finally how

to describe a subject.
