Dear Mr. Prasenjit Dutta,
As per your request, ACTS is delighted to submit its offer as per the following details:

1- Introduction

construction materials technology. ACTS was involved in several prestigious projects in the Gulf Area, which highlights its
thorough experience in local materials and its leading position in the concrete technology consultancy in the region.

3- Scope of Work
The Scope of work is to perform Assessment of telecommunication tower including bolt tightening.

4- Project Schedule
The schedule of works is proposed taking into account the following considerations:

 Statutory approvals for work permit and gate passes shall be obtained by Voltage Engineering Ltd., M/s ACTS will
arrange for the necessary documents and assistance in this regard if needed.
 Field Works shall commence after getting the necessary permits and gate passes
 Site work will take place during six days per week, eight (8) hours per day, except during Ramadan when the working
time is reduced to six (6) hours per day.

 5- Fees for Proposed Services.
The fees of proposed services are presented in Table 1:

6- Terms and Conditions.

 ACTS will not be liable for any test results, false, inaccurate, inappropriate or incomplete information presented by client.
 Proceeding and obtaining all kind of permits/gate passes for ACTS personnel and vehicles needed for the job will be
arranged by Client.
 The work will commence after receiving all required permits and gate passes.
 ACTS will provide its personnel with standard PPE (safety shoes, safety helmet, regular safety gloves and safety vest). If
any other special PPE is required, it shall be provided by Client.
 Monthly rate is based on a maximum of 26 working days, and weekly rate is based on 6 working days (excluding Fridays
and public holidays). In case ACTS services are required on holidays, the Client should send a request to ACTS for
approval, and the rates will be 1.25 times the normal rate for Fridays, and 1.5 times the normal rate on Public Holidays.
 ACTS shall be notified one week in advance in order to start the investigation. Idle time beyond ACTS control cannot be
charged against ACTS. Time schedule commences after receiving all required permits from all involved authorities.
 All preparations on the structure needed for testing including, scaffoldings, site arrangements, safe access to testing points,
electricity and water supply, special equipment, and transportation on site will be sole client’s responsibility.
 Reinstatement of tested locations will be done using Non-Shrink grout only. Any finishings including (painting,
decoration, tiles, etc.) is out of ACTS scope.
 For safety reasons, ACTS will not be responsible of conducting any NDT or DT test on any severely damaged elements
or at any location of the building which may present a risk to ACTS personnel.
 While performing GPR test for any structural element, the machine limitation applies.
All surface preparations (concrete cleaning, smoothness, etc.) to perform Non-Destructive and Destructive testing are out
of ACTS Scope.
 Tensile testing for steel reinforcement or plate requires a minimum specimen length of 500 mm.
 No machining is included in the price of any destructive testing. If required, an extra charge of 50 QAR per sample will
be applied. (This term does not apply to Charpy/Impact testing, where machining is included in the unit price of the test).
 The samples to be tested shall be delivered to ACTS Laboratory in Industrial Area Street 14, or otherwise an extra charge
of QAR350 will be applied for mobilization/demobilization.
 Hardness test method shall be UCI or Leeb test and values will be converted into the required scale as per the standards.
 Chemical Analysis will be performed at ACTS Laboratories Overseas.
 The laboratory-testing program shall finish twenty (20) working days after the completion of the fieldwork.
 ACTS will attend 1 workshop with the Client.
 Standby time will be charged against the Client according to daily rate.

  Fees are in accordance to the proposed scope of work only. Addition to the scope, if requested, will be subject to extra
charges in the total amount.
 The only insurances provided under this contract are:
o Workmen’s compensation and employer liability insurance
o Automotive third-party liability insurance
o Third Party Liability insurance for a value of US$2,000,000
o Professional Indemnity insurance for US$1,000,000
Should Voltage Engineering Ltd. require additional type of insurances, these will be charged at additional cost to this
quote.
Validity of Proposal:
This proposal is valid for Thirty (30) calendar days from the date of submittal.
Invoicing Terms:
Invoice conditions are as follows:

- 100% advance payment.

Payment Terms:
- 100% advance payment.
