Subject: RFQ for Painting of 60 metre Communication Tower for QAF

Further to our revised quotation and subsequent conversation, we herewith offer our FINAL revised
quotation for the painting of the Communication Tower

To carry out surface preparation and painting of the tower, in accordance with the specification
proposed by M/s Hempel Paints, as detailed below.

Remove soluble salts by scrubbing with stiff bristle brush and detergent
High Pressure wash with fresh water
Lightly sweep-blast the substrate using fine abrasive
Thereafter supply and apply
1 coat Polyamide Cured Surface Tolerant Epoxy [Hempadur 45881]: dft 125 µm
1 coat Aliphatic Polyurethane topcoat [Hempathane 55210]: dft 50 µm

Colours: TBA, but as per ICAO requirements. [Red / White]

Lump Sum Amount : QRs. 82,425.00

[This is equivalent to an approximate Unit Price of QRs. 48.40/m2 against an area of 1703m2]

Apollo has considered the following inclusions / exclusions in compiling our estimate and quotation.

Inclusions (Supplied by Apollo)

 All work to be conducted on a Day Shift basis in our coatings yard at Salwa Industrial Estate, Street
38 and Unit 120.
 All coating is to be completed at the yard facility and excludes for any site remedial repairs. If any
site repairs are required, then these will be conducted on a daywork [time and materials basis]
 Supervision / Inspection and all other labors categories
 Supply of Mobile Air Compressor, blast and spray equipment and consumable items
 Transportation to/from our yard work site from Doha

  Supply of paint materials and cleaning agents [thinners and equipment cleaners] and blast
abrasive
 Tower structures are capable of being handled by forklift, which is available with Apollo
 Quotation valid for 180 days only from date of this quotation.
 An indication of program has been requested. Voltage suggested that a 12 -15 day program was
required, this is presently unachievable by Apollo as we are limited on manpower due to contract
commitments / pre-shutdown activities. We anticipate a period of between 24 - 30 days with the
manpower available.

Exclusions (To be supplied by Voltage Eng on a free issue basis)

 Transportation of Tower sections to/from Apollo yard
 We would require assistance in designating colours to each angle piece of the tower, as the steel
sections are identified by numbers and may not be in order for coating colour identification.
 The tower will no doubt require painting in two alternate colour [red/white, or similar] where
Voltage engineering are required to provide the correct drawings / information to identify colour
coding.
 You state there will be inspection, please advise who will be present for inspection as this work is
time critical not only for Voltage, but also for Apollo as we are preparing for shutdown activities

We enclose below our schedule of Daywork rates for manpower / equipment, should there be a need
for site remedial work.

Payment Terms: Invoices will be submitted on completion of the work where payment is required
within 30 days of dated invoice, or other terms to be agreed. We will also require a cheque to the
contract value to be deposited in our office prior to commencement, as a guarantee cheque. A Purchase
Order will be required prior to commencement of the work and no work will commence until Apollo
approve the Purchase Order.
