VI.

LEARNING ACTIVITIES (Do Activity Number 2)


1. Color this.  Exercise your coloring abilities.  Have this mandala colored the way
you like.  You may use any medium such as crayons, watercolor, oil pastel, etc.
Place a title to it. Scoring rubric: Title-5 points, Originality - 5 points, Color
combinations-10 points, Total:  20 Points

2. SCRIBBLE IT. Drawing loosely and spontaneously (without interrupted


movement of hand and shoulder), scribble on a ¼ illustration board/cardboard. 
Make big swirls all over the board; do not stop your hand and do not lift the pencil
from the board.  Make some tight curls, then some jagged zigzags, loops, coils,
and points until the illustration board is fully covered.  Color it. 
Rubrics: Creativity-10, Originality-5, Explanation-5, Total:  20 points
After doing the above activity, you will explain your artwork using the guide questions
below.
1. Identify the subject in your artwork (scribble): This may refer to what you see or
interpret in your scribble.

2. Background: This can refer to the setting or location of the subject.  

3. Observations: What are the observations or experiences when doing the


artwork?

4. Color Scheme: Did you use either warm or cool colors? 

5. Format of the work: Landscape or Portrait


The artwork is in portrait.

6. Final Title: MAN In SADNESS


7. Meaning of the artwork/scribble. You may come up with a conventional or
contextual meaning (artwork analysis). 

VII. ASSIGNMENT.  WHAT YOUR FAVORITE SONG MEANS.  Write a (2-paged,


1.5” spacing, arial font style, 11 font size) song analysis of your favorite song.

VIII. EVALUATION
Project making for finals. DIY.  (Do it yourself).  
 Design a part of your home (e.g. living room, bedroom, kitchen,
comfort room, garden).  You don’t have to be extravagant in this
activity.  Show your creativity.
 Take a photo before and after you do your learning task.  
 Write what improvement (e.g. decoration, decluttering, organization,
redesign, cleaning, painting, revamp, rearrange) that you have done.  
 Describe your main style use (e.g. minimalism, futurism,
expressionism, symbolism, modern etc.)
 How many minutes/hours did you do it?
 What main artwork that you include in the room?
 How would you describe the colors that can be seen in the room?
 What is your personal reflection?  
 Did you housemates appreciate your output?
Note:  Include in the room your artwork about love.

Scoring Rubric:
Main improvement (before and after look) – 40
points
Write-up description (including the answer in the guide questions above) – 20
points
Overall visual effect (aesthetic impression) – 20
points
Financial value (lesser cost or no cost use in designing) – 20
points
Total:  100
points
