1. Introduction: My name is Gagandeep Kaur. Student ID number is 4335900. I

completed my secondary education with commerce stream from Sant Baba bhag
Singh secondary school Sukhanand Moga . Now I am doing a Business program in
ST Lawrence college at Alpha campus.
2. I choose this area of study because I am Interested in the Business area as well as I
want to become a successful woman in the Business area.
3. Potential employers find an attractive thing about my past and current education is
that my study is related to business which gives information to me about the
strategies to do business and creates confidence in me to do any work .

1 Motivating:
Situation: when my friend at work is not able to complete her task.
Task: he has to pack 150 boxes of cookies in 1 hour. He has no hope to do this
because He is late.
Action: I asked her to try this and tell one motivating story to her.
Result: He tries and packs 140 boxes in 1 hour and he did not get punishment from a
boss.
2 Responsibility:
Situation: one day my line leader had to go home urgently due to which he give
responsibility to my leading the whole line
Task: Check the Employee's work
Action: Then I listen to her about how I do all work and follow all instructions and
leading lines.
Result: my boss was able to go home and the next day he said that I fulfilled my
responsibility for which he gave to me and gave me a reward.
3 Communication:
Situation: I am doing work with a company then I have to give a presentation to all
our employees. I am new in this company and I didn't have much knowledge about
the product.
Task: giving brief information to all other employees about the product in
presentation
Action: I did a search on the internet about the product and talked with the boss a
little bit about the product and made a speech and gave it to all my employees.
Result: My boss was very happy to see my work and my way of speaking. I get
appreciation from my boss.
4 Teaching to others:
Situation: One month ago when my friend was not able to work on a machine at
my workplace.
Task: Teach my friend how to operate the machine.
Action: I used some tips and did it in front of my friend and told her how to work on
this machine.Then I asked her to try that machine one time.
Result: Now she is able to do work on the machine properly. She says thanks to me
teaching her how to operate the machine.
5 Leadership:
Situation:when I was studying in 12th class that time I saw that there are some
people who waste a lot of water. That time I decided with my friends that we create
awareness among the people about the wastage of water.
Task: lead the groups who create awareness among the people.
Action: I got permission from my principal to organise a group to go to some public
place and give speeches to the people related to the wastage of water. I made a10
groups. Each group had 5 people. I lead all the groups and give the speech to the
people.
Result: I am able to lead the all group and provide information to the people about
the wastage of water. I see some changes in behaviour of people regarding water
saving.

5 My biggest goal in my life is becoming a successful woman in the business field. I

Want to do a business related to food . For this study business study and doing a part
time job in the restaurant for gaming experience as well as for knowing the strategies.
