I. Project Title:
Lecture and Workshop on Solid Waste Management

II. Description:
The student organizers will go to a pre-identified area to lecture on solid waste
management and encourage the subjects to participate in the workshop to be
conducted after the lecture.

III. Objectives
1. For the people of the community to understand basic information on ecological
solid waste management
2. For the people to be able to find ways in dealing with the problem on solid
waste in their area.
3. For each individual to participate in the workshop activities.

1. Lack of familiarity to the place of implementation (Solution - utilizing
information technology solutions, creative use of staff and flexible schedules, and
obtaining additional resources)
2. Possible presence of dengue-carrying mosquitos (Solution - Verify that there
are no larvae or pupae in stored water (empty the container, wash walls with a brush to
remove eggs, rinse, and cover).
