who come Especially in the current era of the covid-19 pandemic, if one day this

CHAPTER II
DESCRIPTION OF ON THE JOB TRAINING PROGRAM

2.1 HOTEL DESCRIPTION

The History of the Establishment of the Grand Hyatt Bali.
The original owners of this hyatt name were Hyatt entrepreneurs Robert von
Dehn and Jack Dyer Crouch; After several years of running this company, Von
Dehn then sold his hotel shares to a businessman named Jay Pritzker. Next Hyatt
was developed again by Jay. With his younger brother Donald Pritzker who also
took an important role in this company. Over the next decade, acquisitions were
made, and Hyatt became the fastest growing hotel chain in the United States.
In 1969, Hyatt opened its first hotel outside the United States, the Hyatt
Regency Hong Kong. In 1972 Hyatt formed the Elsinore Corporation, a
subsidiary to operate its new hotels, the Four Queens Hotel and Casino and the
Hyatt Lake Tahoe. After Hyatt became a private company in 1979, Elsinore spun
off as a public company. The company opened the Playboy Hotel and Casino as a
joint venture with Playboy Enterprises. In 1980 the Grand Hyatt and Park Hyatt
were introduced. Hyatt operates as a resort hotel, starting with the Hyatt Regency
Maui in 1980. It grew rapidly until 2012 Hyatt has more than 490 hotels
worldwide.
However, in June 2004, substantially all of the hotel assets owned by the
Pritzker family business interests, including Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt
International Corporation, were consolidated under a single entity called Global
Hyatt Corporation. And then on June 30, 2009, Global Hyatt Company changed
its name to Hyatt

1. Hotels Corporation.
In December 2004 Hyatt Hotels Corporation acquired AmeriSuites, an
upscale business chain of affiliates of the Blackstone Group, a New York-based
private equity investment firm. Blackstone inherited Ameri Suites from its
acquisition of Prime Hospitality in 2004. The Ameri Suites chain was renamed
and called Hyatt Place, a competitor to the limited service products of the Marriott
International Hilton and the Hilton Worldwide Hilton Garden Inn.
In December 2005 Hyatt acquired the limited company Summerfield Suites
from the Blackstone Group. Blackstone inherited Summerfield Suites from a
purchase from Wyndham International. According to a Hyatt press release, in
January 2012 the Hyatt Summerfield Suites, which was renamed the Hyatt House,
competed in the "upscale extended stay market" against Residence Inn, Holiday
Inn and Holiday Inn.
On September 1, 2011 Hyatt acquired Hotel Sierra, which has 18 properties
in 10 countries. Along with the Hyatt Summerfield Suites hotel, several of these
properties were renamed Hyatt House in January 2012. And as of December 31,
2014 Hyatt Corporation worldwide consists of 587 properties.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation operates several chains. The Human Rights
Campaign (HRC) awarded the company 100% in the HRC Equivalence Index for
eight consecutive years. The Hyatt Regency brand is the oldest brand in the
company, with the Grand Hyatt and Park Hyatt brands being introduced in 1980.
Some of these are styled as "resort" properties, and may have spas or other
recreational facilities. Other brands include Hyatt Place, designed as a limited
offer service for business travelers. An extended stay chain, Summerfield Suites,
was acquired by Hyatt in 2005, and renamed Hyatt House in January 2012. Hyatt
launched the Andaz brand in April 2007. The first Andaz hotel was The Great
Hotel East in London, followed by hotels in San Diego. , West Hollywood,
Shanghai and New York City (Andaz Wall Street & Andaz 5th Avenue).
In November 2013 Hyatt introduced their first all-inclusive resort brand,
Ziva and Hyatt Zilara. In 2015, Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara offered all inclusive
accommodation in Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos and Rose Hall, Montego
Bay, Jamaica.

Andaz is a type of Hyatt hotel with a boutique style theme, which was
built in a youth style, with a simple design and specifically for young

f. Hyatt centric (2006)

Lippincott's long history with the Hyatt brand portfolio gives us an in-
depth understanding of the brand's existing experience and areas of
opportunity to launch new boutique offerings. Research reveals a new
type of traveler - the "modern explorer" - who will serve as inspiration
for the concept. They are a multigenerational group of intelligent, curious
consumers who want an uncomplicated but intuitive experience. They
also value the human touch in a digital world - knowledgeable staff who
are personally acquainted with the best that every destination has to offer.
With "Centric" chosen as the name that best exemplified this experience,
Lippincott set out to design a new identity and bring the brand to life.
The logo is inspired by the streets and intersections that make up each
major destination, and it includes a "drop pin" that puts guests in the
center of the action. The broader visual system brings together an eclectic
mix of photography and illustration to highlight the food, culture,
shopping and events in each city that will feature Hyatt Centric hotels.
Lippincott also worked closely with illustrator Christoph Niemann to
develop a custom set of illustrated characters that express the brand's
personality and represent Hyatt Centric guests - cool, confident and
adventurous every time they land in a new destination.

g. Hyatthouse(2012)

Hyatt's signature hospitality, Hyatt has become a brand the hospitality of
choice for travelers seeking a dramatic luxury experience in the world's
