● First, we will write sentences in Portuguese on the board with subject


pronouns. We will ask the students to translate into English and identify
the pronouns.

– Eu vi as fotos no Instagram. (I saw the photos/pictures on Instagram)

– Você tem que vir para a festa. (You have to come to the party.)

– Ela tem muitos amigos. (She has many friends.)

– Ele gosta de música clássica. (He likes classic music.)

– É a melhor cidade do mundo. (It is the best city in the world.)

– Nós somos uma grande família. (We are a big family.)

– Vocês são meus melhores amigos. (You are my best friends)

– Eles tornaram-se os melhores jogadores de futebol da escola. (They


became the best soccer players in school)

- Object pronouns;
● After review, we will associate the given subject pronouns with the
equivalent object pronouns, showing them English examples of
sentences with both pronouns.

● "I went to the fair" (Eu fui à feira e trouxe algo para alguém)

First, the teacher will give an example to the students on the board and
choose a student randomly. The student choosed or volunteer will
repeat the sentence, pick an object pronoun and add an object. Then
the student chosen will choose another student to follow the same
structure.

e.g: I went to the fair and brought HIM watermelon.
