1)Used for the transportation of water (not water supplies), air, steam, oil, gas, and
other fluids at relatively low pressures. For water supply piping, plastic-lined steel
pipe made by coating SGP (carbon steel pipe for ordinary piping)2)Two different
kinds: black pipe and white pipe. Operating temperature range: -15 to
350°C.3)MZN grade groove corrosion-resistant ERW steel pipe is also sold, for
protection against the groove corrosion that may occur along the welds of ERW
steel pipe.
1)Used for the transportation of water, air, steam, oil, gas, and other fluids at temperatures up to
approximately 350°C.2)MZN grade groove corrosion-resistant ERW steel pipe is also sold, for protection
against the groove corrosion that may occur along the welds of ERW steel pipe.3)Available in two strength
grades of 370 and 410, and in Schedule Nos. (pipe thickness) of 10, 20, 30,40, 60, and 80.
Arc Welded Carbon Steel Pipe for Plumbing
1)Used for the transportation of water, air, steam, oil, gas, and other fluids at relatively low
pressures.2)Operating temperature range: -15 to 350°C.3)In addition to STPY400, pipe is manufactured
from various other kinds of plate steel.
1)Mechanical performance equivalent to STPY400 (manufactured by ERW). Can be used when steel pipe
STPY400 does not meet pipe thickness requirements.2)MZN grade groove corrosion-resistant ERW steel
pipe is also sold, for protection against the groove corrosion that may occur along the welds of ERW steel
pipe.
1)Used for high-pressure applications that require specifications beyond those of STPG (carbon steel pipes
for pressure service for plumbing).2)Available in three strength grades of 370, 410, and 480, and in Schedule
Nos. (pipe thickness) of 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, and 160.
1)Used mainly for the transportation of air, oil, gas, and other fluids at ambient temperatures below -
15°C.2)Available in three strength grades of 380, 450, and 690, and in Schedule Nos. (pipe thickness) of 10,
20, 30, 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, and 160.
1)Used mainly for piping applications at ambient temperatures between 350°C and 450°C.2)Available in
three strength grades of 370, 410, and 480, and in Schedule Nos. (pipe thickness) of 10, 20, 30, 40, 60, 80,
100, 120, 140, and 160.
Main features
1)Used mainly for water supply piping at static head values up to 100 m, but also for industrial water and
agricultural water systems.2)Available in three strength grades of 290, 370, and 400. The 290 is equivalent
to SGP; the 370 is defined as raw pipe equivalent to STPG370 of nominal size up to 300 A; and the 400 is
defined as raw pipe equivalent to STPY of nominal size 350 A or larger.
