Learning Area: MAPEH -PE Week No: 3 Date Coverage: December 6-10, 2021
MELCs : Engages in moderate to vigorous physical activities for atleast 60 minutes
a day in and out of school (PE10PF-IIch-45).
Objectives : At the end of the module, the learner is expected to:
● Determine the different eating disorders;
● Prepare and monitor behavioral changes for weight management;
● Value the importance of weight management to your health.
DAY AND TIME LEARNING TASKS
Wednesday
7:30-8:30 Wake up, make up your bed, eat breakfast, and get ready for an awesome
day!
8:30-9:00 Have a short exercise/meditation/bonding with the family.
1:00-1:45 Preliminaries/Introduction (What I Need to Know)
To begin the learning session, you are going to read and understand the given
objectives in what I need to know column.
1:45-1:55 Pre-assessment (What I Know)
Let the learner read and answer the activities on pp. 6-8. Note: Guide him/her
in accomplishing the task. Encourage the learner not to worry about the result
since it’s just a matter of how much he/she knows about the topic.
PROCEDURES
1:55-2:05 1. Review/Motivations (What’s In)
In this part of the module, the learner will have a short drill or review to help
him/her link the current lesson with the previous one. Have the learner
answer the activity on page 8. Note: Allow the learner to think, answer freely
and remember the concepts of how he/she answered the activity. Remind the
learner to tap his/her teacher if he/she has a question regarding the content
and direction.
2:05-2:15 2. Initial Activity/Discovery (What’s New)
The learner will read and understand the real-life story of Yani’s experience
Note: Remind them that It’s okay to raise questions if there’s via text, email,
or phone call.
2:15-2:25 3. Discussion of the Topic (What Is It)
The learner will read, understand, and answer guide questions of what is it
portion on pp. 10-12. Note: Take time to read, analyze and practice with the
learner the materials and examples for a better understanding of the lessons.
This may help the learner to engage himself/herself more in the learning task.
4. Enrichment Activities (What’s More)
2:25-3:00 5. Generalization (What I Have Learned)
The learner will assess his/her learning progress by completing the following
statements in the What I Have Learned part on p. 19 of this module. Note:
Check if the learner has completed the activity. Guide him/her in doing the
task by retaliating the significance of the given topic.
