1.0 Introduction
This report is prepared by Design Cell as part of the structural analysis and the design of Spinal Injuries Hospital at
Shanga Bhanjang Kavre, Nepal. This report describes the method of structural analysis and its findings, design procedures
and follow up of standards.
The scope of the work is to produce working level drawings through structural analysis, design and detailing of various
elements present in the building structure as per the standards.
iv. Generating input data for structural analysis; modeling in computer for 3D analysis .The adopted software in the
analysis is SAP2000.
v. Data interpretation:
vi. Design, and detailing of all structural elements ( foundation, beams columns, slabs etc) as per the standards. All
design have been based on LIMIT STATE method .Design for flexure and serviceability limit state has been
satisfied to all critical elements as per IS standards.(IS 456-1978/2000). Ductility has been considered in the
structural elements as specified by the IS code.
vii. Production of working level structural drawings
