INTERN NARRATIVE REPORT

Name: Miracle Joy Navarro Santiago             Week No.: 1

University: Meycauayan College Inclusive Dates: Feb. 8-11
Position: Business Development Associate

On Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 8:00 a.m., the internship officially began.

I'll be accompanied by three of my classmates for this internship. My acquaintance from another
institution recommended Estatoora Consulting Firm to me. The firm receives positive and
productive feedback, which is true based on my own experience. It's a great experience and
convenient to this firm. The Human Resource Head has issued an interview and confirmation
email after receiving an enquiry and filling out Google forms for an application. At eight o'clock
in the morning, the email was sent, and at three o'clock in the afternoon, the email contained a
prompt orientation. We were given instructions on our jobs, responsibilities, supervisory
personnel, and the various departments inside the organization. We've been allocated as Business
Development Associate interns, which means we'll be working in their accounting department.
Important duties and tasks are also included as documentation below.
We are able to meet with Ms. Joanne Catherine Roque, one of the heads in Business
Development Associate, the next day, and she also presents other top employees. We may begin
our first work or assignment for the day. Group conversations are also made formally. We spent
the rest of the day studying our duties, which included a Canada Revenue Agency analysis and
the registration of a Sole Proprietorship in Wealth Simple. The firm introduces us to several
accounting systems in Canada and pushes us to study, understand, and explore the country's
accounting systems and titles. It is notable as well how they guide us in learning account titles in
Canada and compared it in Philippine translation.

Consecutively, the day began with us performing our allocated assignment,

then at three o'clock in the afternoon, we had a virtual meeting with all of the BDA interns, as
well as Ms. Joanne and Ms. Kei Anne. After working with Estatoora, they were able to keep up
with our task updates and gently inspire us. Our mentors have given me a lot of hope. As a result,
on the last day of the week, we resumed our Wealthsimple course and submitted our initial
output to Google Drive for our head to review.

The first week in Estatoora company is productive already and meaningful to

me. Aside from the tasks, the officers in charge with us are all very approachable and kind. Their
learnings and accountancy journeys are all admirable as well. Documentations with the given
tasks are posted below and sample Income and Expense Summary are shown below.
