I. Introduction
The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected society and the way it works.
People are either not allowed or afraid to go out of their house to buy their
necessities. Cities are thriving because of well-known companies operating in
the delivery services. With just a click, people can order food and even shop
through online applications. However, provinces lack these services and
resources which is why people in the remote area have no choice but to risk
their health to buy their daily needs. To cater to the necessities of the people
under the restrictions and fear of the virus, Dacece Delivery offers its
assistance to the public. Dacece Delivery would render the food and other
products distributed to the consumers to help both consumers and producers
to meet their needs.
A. The Business Concept and the Business Model
Business Concept
Dacece delivery is an intra-province delivery service that shall offer its
services in the town of Oslob, Cebu. Its concept is based on the delivery
companies aiding the new market methodology in a good and reliable quality
service.
Business Model
The delivery service would use the brokerage as its business model. High-
quality service combined with an efficient operation, alliance with well-known
food and other products services (i.e. famous food chains in the town), full-
range delivery vehicles and well-trained delivery drivers and personnel are
the qualities of Dacece delivery that will help us satisfy and exceed the
customer’s demands. The key details are a flexible, budget-friendly, efficient
delivery and a high standard level of service.
B. The Business Goals: Vision, Mission, Objectives and
Performance Targets

delivery service in remote areas to reach out and help both consumers and

C. The Business Offering and Justification
Dacece Delivery is a small start-up delivery company in the town of Oslob,
Cebu, Philippines. We offer delivery services for both food and other
products affiliated with the company. The producers are to associate with
Dacece Delivery in a partnership as their courier to reach out to their
customers. On the other hand, the customers will be able to access the
services offered via a free mobile application, which would later be available
in the app stores.
There will be one outlet per barangay to cater to even the remotest area of
the town. With the services offered by Dacece Delivery, people will no longer
need to go out and pay for their fare to buy food or other products since
everything will be taken care of by the delivery services. As to those who do
not have access to an internet connection, mobile and telephone numbers
will also be available. During the start-up, every town is proposed to have 2
delivery drivers and 2 staff to reach out to the needs of the people.
II. Executive Summary
Princess Gracel C. Castroverde and Danise Ingrid Degoro have
observed the lack of delivery systems in the town where they live, which
offered them a great opportunity to sustain this need. Danise and her family
have a small dessert business where they offer special halo-halo for the
mass. While a lot of people purchase their product, the delivery system is
the main barrier. There are no services that offer a delivery service which
turns to be difficult for a small flourishing business with no manpower.
With the problem seen in their business, Princess suggested start-up a
Delivery business inside their town to help the producers in distributing their
products to the consumers especially in these times of pandemic. The
services are offered within the town of Oslob wherein food chains and other
businesses will associate with Dacece Delivery in providing their customers a
fast, affordable, and hassle-free delivery system. The services offered by the
Dacece Delivery will begin in the municipality of Oslob as their starting place.
The producers that will associate with Dacece Delivery will pay the
company as they deliver to their customers. The consumers are either to
download an application on their phone or reach out to the mobile or
telephone numbers provided to access the delivery services. Dacece Delivery
aim to offer their service at a fair price for both consumers and producers.
In a submission to the government authorities, Dacece Delivery will pass
through a legal process to have their operating permit. Dacece Delivery will
ensure the safety of its drivers and its customers by implying the existing
health and safety protocols. The staff and the delivery drivers are to wear
face masks at all times and must observe proper handwashing before and
after giving their services to the public.
III. The Business Proponents: Organizers with their Capabilities
and Contributions
Dacece Delivery is proposed by Danise Ingrid Degoro and Princess Gracel
Castroverde, aiming to lend a helping hand to the community. The business
will be run by the pair, but it would be difficult with just the two of them,
hence manpower is a great factor for the success of the business.
Well-trained drivers will be hired as delivery drivers. The management
will ensure to have an eligibility check with the drivers. Staff is also needed
in managing the phone calls and the online booking through an application.
With the contribution of all employees and the management, Dacece
Delivery will provide a fast, reliable, budget-friendly, and quality service to
the public.
IV. The Target Customers and the Main Value Proposition to the
Customer
Many people depend on delivery services when it comes to online selling.
People who shop and browse on the online platform are the target
customers of this business. Consumers prefer to pay for the delivery service
instead of them going to the physical shop and buying their necessities.
Dacece Delivery acts on behalf of the consumers in physically purchasing
their desired products and will deliver them right outside their door. It will be
a big advantage for those who live in a distant area from the city proper of
the town. The fare for a back and forth ride on a tricycle would be more
expensive than availing Dacece’s Deliver services, hence people would most
likely prefer to avail our services.
Overall, the main target of this business is to bring the innovations -
which will benefit the consumers - to the remotest area of the town.

VI. The products and service offerings

Dacece Delivery will associate and collaborate with the stores or
restaurants in the town.
Dacece Delivery operates 24/7. However, that doesn’t mean that our
partner restaurants are operating 24/7, too. The availability of the
restaurants will still depend on their schedule and your location.
How to order food online at Decece Delivery:
1. Enter your location/address. If the address is already set in your app,
there’s no need to do this.
2. Type restaurant name, cuisine, dish name, or keyword.
3. Choose a restaurant available in your area.
4. Pick the food items you want to order.
5. Proceed to checkout. Enter your exact delivery address, payment method,
and phone number.
After placing your order, Dacece Delivery forwards it to the restaurant,
which then starts preparing your food. The delivery person will pick up your
order at the restaurant and deliver it to you on a bike or motorcycle.
