I. REACTIONS TO THE MINISTER PROVINCIAL’S REPORT

Our feedback on the report of MP is not MP report but from the excerpts of Guardians
Report. It is not satisfying but considered an “I” report. Also, he cannot summarize his report.

A. Formation

We are expecting detailed expressions and concerns in the formation but he tries to
escape the reality of the concerns of this triennium formation. Yes, he responds but he is very
rational. He didn’t discuss why the postulancy house and formation moved in VOT without
consultation and why many programs insert into the Formation program without the consultation
of the chapter resolutions last 2019

The question is this: What is the most Important Fraternity or structure?

B. Duplication of the Program

We are concerned about the duplication of programs produced by the issue of addition
and/or duplication of sessions and/or conferences.

C. Ministerial Concerns

We express that why “Tagbabad Sessions” are included in ministerial requirements and
thus are spoke exactions of needed or delayed ordination. Also, it is needed to revise the
requirements of ministerial obligations? There is no distinct work about the pre-diaconal
apprentice when the friars go to the parish assignment.

D. School Ministry

We prompt that he said all the details about the issue of Graduate School and ICT but he
gives a glimpse and did not express the issue in this matter. He already said the comment and
recommendation even if he didn’t have a resolution. There are many concerns about school
especially the conflict between Graduate School and ICTC, the Portal that even from the start the
students cannot use, changing curriculum in the middle of the school year and clarifying the
identity of these two institutions.

We discussed also why in these pandemic times commit a big decision to produce an
amount of money in the time of crisis, especially to the Portal. Who decides it?

E. Programs for the Lay Brother

We discuss the program of the Lay brother or someone who commits mistakes while on
the ongoing formation especially Solemn Professed Friar. Yes, it is good that we have a
consulting place like Tagbabad but we form a suggestion that it is good to handle also our

brother who is in line in this aspect of Psychology, etc. because it is good to co-brother or co-
friars help the friar to grow deeper because it is our obligation to each one of us.

F. Health

There is no response to the phenomenon of the Pandemic.

II. REACTIONS TO THE VISITATOR GENERAL REPORT

Our group sharing produces a fruitful discussion about the VG Report. We admire his
courageousness and braveness to speak about the issue of the province. We esteem his openness
to listening to what the inside of each friar. It is a big question that an American foreigner who is
a Visitator general sees the issue of clericalism, individualism, and individuality of the province.
It is supposed to be the responsibility of each one of us especially the members of the province.
Strangely, he cannot see the problem because we are blind to see it. Yes, we can fix this but we
are superficial. Nobody can ask for this because of the division.

The report asks us especially the members of the Province of San Pedro Bautista to be
mature enough and to sustain the brotherhood aspect of our life, not a pride monument. It is good
to see that we have good friars who produce good fruits for the province, they must be affirmed.
