BENGALURU MMLP RAIL CONNECTIVITY, RAIL ALIGNMENT

(1) Following observations found in the Rail alignment.

 Please mention Superelevation, Vmax, and shift along with other parameters of curves to
understand curves more deeply.
 Please mention Point and crossing details with chainages.
 Angle of crossing and proposed nose to be mentioned all where required.
 SRJ, Fouling mark, IMWB, Siding platform, and dead-end chainages to be mentioned.
 Track center from existing line to be shown and all where required.
 Horizontal distance between S curve to be checked, whether it’s ok as per Indian railway
manual.
 As the ruling gradient is 1IN150 so grade compensation is required where curves are falling.
 Please show rise and fall as per gradient with chainages.
 Mentioned scale size in the hard copy of rail alignment is not ok as the scale defined. Only
horizontal scale found ok, please check for vertical scale.
 For break van siding, Engine escape siding, and sick line CSL length to be re-checked as per
Indian rail manual with references.
 Minor details are only provided for platform siding, please check whether it is high level or not
and show dimensions all where required.
 Siding platform should be aligned with the existing railway track if the development of MMLP
is not hampered.
