The Shah of Hyderabad descended from Hazrat Imam Hussain.
But he was a famous disciple of Shahbuddin Umar Suharwardi.
 
Oh Shah, your praise is very difficult, and it is a hard task.
So, it cannot be written because your endeavours are strong.
 
Hafeez started the first article with your tasks and work.
It is given a title as the biography of the events of your life.
 
Oh Shah, due to your help and mercy, make it famous.
Not in the subcontinent but in all the world's corners.
 
Hafeez is your old servant, so do not return him empty.
From the court of justice and favours, so do not ignore him.
 
Due to your work, you are like a star in the sky and on earth.
Your position is high and nobody could find it before.
 
At last  Hafeez is asking permission to leave your court.

A biography of Baba Syed Shahabuddin Suherwardi,


Hyderabad
 
 He was born in the year 588 Hjira, corresponding to 1188 A.D.
and he was on the 13th of the genealogical link of the sons who
were descendants of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A.), and he was a
disciple and caliph of Hazrat Shahabuddin Umar Suherwardi
(Shahab al-Din Abu Hafs Umar Suhrawardi was a Persian Sufi
and nephew of Abu al-Najib Suhrawardi. He expanded the Sufi
order of Suhrawardiyya that had been created by his uncle Abu
al-Najib Suhrawardi, and is the person responsible for officially
formalizing the order.

As per the order of his spiritual master, he came to India
from Iraq during the rule of Sultan Shamsuddin Altamash in
Delhi in the year 631 Hijira. And with him, his younger brother,
Hazrat Baba Sharaf Uddin, was also with him. He stayed in
Delhi for a period of nine years, and then he arrived in the
Deccan. And at that time, he was 52 years old.
He spent some years on the mountain along with his brother,
and then, afterward, he went toward the southern side, covering
a distance of 12 miles on one mountain, which is well known
and famous as Garke Tekri (in Ralaguda Shamsabad). When
Hindu people used to visit the mountain, he would teach and

preach about the oneness of Allah. And he said to them, "To


think of the oneness of Allah in the plants. When Naeem and
tamarind leaves are an odd number.”

When Hindu people counted, they found their number an odd


number, and upon seeing this, many people accepted the Islamic
religion.
Death :He lived a long time, 103 years. And he died on 21
Muharram in the year 691 Hijira, corresponding to 1288 A.D.

He was buried on the mountain of Garki Tekri (Rarlaguda


Shamsabad ) in Hyderabad.
                                  
Shah of Baghdad, you have a great name and fame in
Hyderabad.
After passing of time, your memory is alive in the city people.
Shah of Baghdad, Hafeez is your servant, so do not ignore him.
