NARRATIVE REPORT ON BRIGADA ESKWELA: “TUGON SA HAMON NG

LIGTAS NA BALIK-ARAL”
S.Y. 2022-2023

The school is an institution which is responsible in molding the learners into a responsible
individual in the society. This is where one is crafted into a better person, who will be an emblem
of the kind of learning center where he was raised. The multifarious concern of school demands
working with others to accomplish designed tasks and objectives. These would need dedicated
school personnel, cooperative parents, accountable community and innovative learners.

Educators believe that environment plays a big part in students’ learning. And so, if
classrooms are not conducive to learning because of poor condition and some defective school
facilities, education is hindered. The Department of Education conducted this year’s Brigada
Eskwela, pursuant to DepEd Order No. 34, s. 2022 titled School Calendar and Activities for the
School Year 2022-2023 which states that: Brigada Eskwela and Oplan Balik Eskwela shall be
conducted, focusing on information campaigns, and strengthening partnerships that complement
the Department’s effort to ensure quality basic education, on August 8, 2022 – August 12, 2022
where all education stakeholders contributed their time, effort and resources in ensuring that the
school facilities are ready in time for the school opening.

Early morning of August 08, 2022, the first day of B.E., I started cleaning and removing
all my stuffs on my former classroom because we are transferring to the other room. In the
afternoon I started relocating some modules and activity sheets to the storage room.

On the second day of BE, August 09, 2022, I started to transfer all my things on the third
floor and I also removed some of the things left inside my classroom which were belong to the
former teacher who reside to that room. I also clean a bit to lessen the dust inside my classroom.
We, together with my co-grade level teachers clean the second-floor classroom we used to reside.

On the third day of B.E., August 10, 2022, As the Brigada Eskwela Coordinator I also do
some stuffs while cleaning and fixing my classroom such as receiving donations from different
stakeholders. After removing all the unnecessary materials and things inside my new classroom I
started removing the webs and dirt on my ceiling and walls.

On the fourth day of B.E., August 11, 2022, some of my co teachers volunteer to help
me in cleaning and re-arranging my classroom to follow the health protocols of the school. We
also try different ways on how we can make the classroom spacious given the chairs and tables
were not suitable on occupying bigger number of students.

On the last
day of B.E, August 12, 2022, everyone is still busy beautifying the whole school grounds
especially each classroom. I also clean my hallway and remove all the trash and excess chairs

and table and put them inside our building storage room.

Indeed, it is literally true that we can succeed best and quickest by helping others to succeed.
