    LNG Production Supervisor

    Role:

    • Provide process engineering (technical support) and trouble –shooting support to production team,
    ensure process engineering design, standards, materials specification, operations and maintenance
    procedures and practices in order to promote a safe operating environment and optimize plant
    performance.

    Main Responsibilities:

    PROJECT PHASE

    • Participate in the execution of the Operations Readiness plan in what concerns Production
    department deliverables.
    • Ensure about all process engineering during EPCIC is adherently safe to operate efficiently and
    effectively Coral FLNG by including all operations best practices and lesson learnt to engineering
    phase Participate in design review / process Hazard Assessment workshops.
    • Participate in design review workshops during the project phase.

    OPERATION PHASE

    • Daily monitoring and managing the SOE software, develop and distribute the required report, and
    evaluate the performance of plant equipment’s and provide operating guideline to the production
    shift team in order to maintain plant performance optimization in safe efficient manner.
    • Undertake detailed analysis, to ensure departmental targets are met, and support operations to
    resolve technical issues, by proposing and implementing corrective actions, with the aim to reduce
    cost and improve reliability, while complying with current safety quality standards.
    • Follow-up for all Production activities, with primary focus to investigate and gather lessons-learned
    for undesired incidents and accidents and update it periodically in the lessons learned register.
    • Provide engineering expertise and guidance on process optimization, and ensures assets are utilized
    and/or modified safely in accordance with applicable codes and standards.

    Job Posting
    LNG Production Supervisor

    • Provide process engineering expertise to assist in maintenance and/or shutdown activities.


    • Interface with technical service engineering team as contact point for any process unit revamp
    and/or modification projects accordance with MOC (Management of Change) guideline.
    • Conduct process simulations utilizing different conditions to investigate LNG process unit’s response
    in order to develop proactive trouble shooting and diagnostic procedures so that production
    disruption is minimized, and safe operating conditions are maintained.
    • Develop and review Operator training simulator (OTS) scenarios; support the production team
    training programs.
    • Participate in RCFA process Hazard Analysis, Risk Assessment and/or PHR (Process Hazop Review).

    Qualifications and Experience:


    • BSc of Engineering or Science: Minimum 10 years of experience, out of them 6 years in LNG industry.
    • Knowledge for ICSS (Integrated Safety Control System), like DCS as plant operating software and
    as HYSYS or any equivalent as plant simulation program as well.
    • Experience working in an LNG Plant;
    • Awareness of process engineering with experience in risk assessment (eg. PHA, HazID, QRA)
    • Experience in Development and Implementation of Safety Related Procedures;

    Competencies:

    • Offshore Certification
    • Fluent English language: spoken and written

    Workplace:

    Offshore Mozambique.
