1. Timeline of Evolution/ Development of modern Nursing.

Florence  During of the Crimean War, Florence Nightingale much of her works took place,
Nightingale (1859) where she was the instrumental in the limiting of the spreading of disease.
Florence Nightingale is known to be the inventor of nursing research. The central
principle of Nightingale was the impact the environment has on a patient's health.
Maslow's Hierarchy  The nursing implementation of Maslow's principle has helped define the priority
of Needs (1943) of patient care. Proposed by Maslow Theory devises a mechanism that
guarantees human existence. This theories is focus on the most fundamental
level. When these needs have been fulfilled, humans will move on to another
layer of need satisfaction. For example, an individual will take precautions to
ensure that they have food and security from the environment before they pursue
communication.
Hildegard Peplau,  Peplau began his first post baccalaureate program in nursing, increasing nursing to
Theory of the profession. The central principles of Peplau's that social relationship theory
Interpersonal included the relationship of between both the nurse and the patient and their

Dorothy Johnson,  The central idea of Dorothy E. Johnson's therapeutic method model was the safe

process and the other one is regulatory subsystem which defines that coping
mechanism occur through the neutral, chemical and the endocrine processes. The
coping mechanisms are also influenced by the stabilizing subsystem and the
innovator subsystem.
Orem's Theory of  According to theory of Orem the result of nursing is the nursing system(s) by
Self Care (1971) which nurses are use the nursing process to help individuals that would meet
their self-care requirements and build up their self-care or to be dependent
care capabilities.
Jean Watson's  "The caring model describes caring in relation to the protection of human
