Introduction  Known simply as Gianmarco
 Born on August 17, 1970 in Lima
 He is a Peruvian musician, composer
and singer-songwriter
Early life, family & other details  During her youthful years, he
participated in a number of artistic
events, singing and performing. Years
later, guitar in hand, he searched
various places in the capital — among
them, "Canta Rana" and the station of
Barranco, which he later remembers
in his song Retrato.
 His mother is Peruvian actress and
singer, Regina Alcover; his father, the
late Peruvian composer and singer
Javier Zignago. He studied primary and
secondary school at the Santa
Margarita School, located in
Monterrico, Lima.
 At the age of 11, he participated with
his mother in the musical work Papito
Piernas Largas, recording a song on
the album of the work.
Achievement(s) + reason(s)  Latin Grammy Award for best singer-
songwriter album and best voice
 UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador
 Presidential Decoration: On October 5,
2007 he was decorated by President
Alan Garcia with the Order of the Sun
of Peru in the rank of Grand Officer.
 It was the image of brands such as
Pepsi, Inca Kola, and the company in
mobile telephony Claro.
Conclusion  Gian Marco was and is an interpreter
of great importance in our country, he
gave us many themes, experiences
and opened the way to his life in all
these years of career, that is why we
consider making this report about
him, it is undoubtedly a success story
of Peru.
