CASE:

As a part of the Placement Committee, you are approaching a unicorn start-up XYZ operating for the past
few years. XYZ is not our past recruiter but recruits potential candidates from comparable colleges. Ms
Prachal is the HR Point of Contact for the organisation.

Q1) Write an email to the company inviting it for Campus Placement Drive at MBA IIT Kanpur.

Ms Prachal responded to the mail that they are willing to associate with MBA IIT Kanpur for Summer
Placement Drive.

Q2) Write a reply email to Ms Prachal on proceeding further.

Now, the recruitment is concluded, and they had selected the candidate, who is your fellow batchmate,
Matt. During his internship, Ms Prachal calls you and complains that Matt is not following instructions. She
also complains that Matt is behaving in an unprofessional manner towards fellow colleagues. She wants to
terminate the internship immediately as she finds no point in going further. From your secondary research,
you get to know that Ms Prachal is egoistic.

On the other side, Matt calls you and says he always delivered the best possible from his side and is being
given unfair directives to follow. Matt is your friend, and he is not from an economically stable background.
The Placecom also doesn’t have any backup Internship Opportunities to offer any candidate.
