A brief biography of Hazrat Anwar Allah Sahab Quaderi,

Hyderabad.

Oh Shah of Hyderabad, you are famous throughout the world.
You have done so much for Muslims and Islam in Hyderabad.
Hazrat was the son of Hazrat Syed Abdul Wahab Gujrati, who
was among the progeny of Hazrat Shaikh Abdul Quader Jilani.
He was born in Gujrat, and he was brought up there, and his
patronymic name was Syed Sahab. He was born in Gujrat, but
his date of birth is not known.
When Nizam Mulk Asif Jah left Delhi for Deccan province, at
that time, Hazrat was also accompanied by him along with his
older parents. And he reached Hyderabad, and upon the
insistance of the Nawab Sahab, he settled down in Hyderabad
permanently.
Hazrat was a darwesh who was enlightened and a perfect Sufi
person. Hazrat was very much a loner and he had a habit of
keeping a silent type of holy person. He was a strict holy person
who used to engage himself in the endeavours of remembrance
of Allah. He was always busy in his endeavours and he was a
Sufi person who left the world.
So the Nawab Nizam Ali Khan Asif Jah II (1175-1218 Hijiri),
who had requested him to kiss his feet in his presence, but
Hazrat refused, saying, "Nawab Sahab used to meet my nephew,
3

and meeting with him is equal to meeting with me."So excuse

this fakir. "
In short, Hazrat has the habits of a Darwesh person. He was
perfect in the knowledge of acquiring expertise and knowledge
of Allah.
Hazrat Shah Ghulam Ali Musavi  compiler of the book
‘Miskawat Nabwa’, has written that " He was present at the time
of the death of the Hazrat and at that time the Hazrat said some
phrases of content and there was on his tongue phrases of the
remembrance of Allah."
He left this mortal on Jamad Awwal in the year 1203 Hijiri,
corresponding to 1788 A.D., in Hyderabad and was buried next
to the tomb of his father in the area of Asifnagar. (see Tahkirat
Auliya Deccan Part One, page 85).
The dimensions of the grave are: Hazrat’s grave is made of
mortar, but due to no maintenance work, it is in bad condition
and needs repairs.
It measures 5 feet and one inch in length, 2 feet and 6 inches in
width, and only one foot in height.
There is no performed Urs or annual death anniversary, but
every year on 14 Zil Hajj, on the occasion of the Urs or annual
death anniversary of his father, there will be a flower garland
placed on his grave and there will be a recitation of verse Fataha
at that time. The custodian of the shrine of Hazrat Syed Abdulla
Madni is also in charge of the custodian of the Hazrat. And there
is no tablet on the grave of the Hazrat.
