Evidence Report

If the aircraft failed to stop before the end of the runway, there are only a few factors. The
breaks, thrust reverser and spoiler. Upon landing, the pilot will first have to flare the aircraft
and ensure a constant speed. Once touch down, spoilers are deployed to reduce lift and
disrupt the aerodynamic flow. Next the pilots will step on the brake and lastly reverse thrust
to slow down the aircraft.

Photo Name: Right side spoiler

Notes: Spoiler was not fully deployed. Only the most outer spoiler is deployed.

Notes: According to picture shown, the reverse trust was deployed during landing.
Although there were damages, I believe it was cause by the crash. There were also no
special reported by the pilots.

Photo Name: Left side spoiler
Notes: Same issue with the right side spoiler. The spoiler was not in full position. These
may cause more time to slow down the aircraft. Also with the bad weather upon landing.

After investigating, the spoiler was the unusual issue that may be the cause of the crash.
During the landing the weather was bad, wet runway. Without the full position of spoiler,

the pilot will have to apply full brake or more pressure to the brakes to slow down the

aircraft which may lead to overheating of the brakes.
