I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson 95% of the students should be able to:
Recognize objects and materials as solid, liquid, and gas.
Identify the difference between solid, liquid, and gas.
Describe solid, liquid, and gas.
III. PROCEDURES
A. Preparatory Drills
Prayer
The teacher will ask the student to stand up and the leader prayer for that day,
to feel the presence of the Almighty God first.
Greetings
The teacher will greet the student in a positive and nice way.
Checking attendance
The teacher checks the attendance with the help of the class monitor
1. Motivation
The teacher will show a glass of water, a sample of rock, and spray perfume to the
students.
The teacher then will ask the students to describe the three things based on;
a. Appearance
b. Texture
c. Weight
B. Developmental Activities
1. Presentation
The teacher will present to the students the definition of solid, liquid, and gas.
The teacher will describe the difference between solid, liquid, and gas based on
observable characteristics.
The teacher also discuss to the students the characteristics of solid, liquid, and gas.
C. GENERALIZATION
Draw a line connecting the picture on the left to the pictures on the right.

Directions: Draw 3 examples of solid, liquid, and gas.

F. ASSIGNMENT:
Ask students to give an example of a time when a solid can change into a
liquid.
Have them explain when a liquid can change into a gas.
Write down the answers on a sheet of paper.
