The expansion of multinational companies and increase in globalization produce positive

effects to everyone. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement.
It is often argued that together with the rapid growth of globalization, the development of
cross-nation agencies has greatly impacted society. From my perspective, I partly agree with
this statement since I believe this tendency also has its downside.
On the one hand, I agree that living in a globalizing world has several advantages. With
regards to the establishment of multinational companies, a majority of people have received
huge benefits from this. Since they gain opportunities to open business widely on an
international level, their reputations, and sales revenue increase significantly. For example,
Coca-Cola; Unilever, and Pepsi are some megacorporations renowned for their credibility
and stable income. Second, the globalization wave motivates the community, in general, to
consider learning English a must. As a result, they started to sign up kids for English
institutions and also look for chances to send them abroad after high school. This trend is
believed to promote humans' personal growth and rapid improvement in the academic field.
However, I would argue that even though the appearance of cross-cultural firms is beneficial
in some ways, it is still brought up several long-term drawbacks. Firstly, having a divergent
of individuals of all races working in one place might set off cultural conflict. For instance, a
Muslim that always forbids pork in their meal may suffer from culture shock when
witnessing other people eating pork in front of them. Secondly, the demand for being
competent in English could put pressure on students. Since not everyone has gifted language
learning skills, those with a lack of aptitude may endure tensions with parents as well as
having anxiety and stress that could lead to depression.
In conclusion, while I agree that multinational organizations and the urge for a globalized
world could produce positive effects, I do believe that if people overplay the importance of
this trend, it could create negative outcomes.

The table compares how much it cost to purchase a cup of coffee in six different regions of
Australia, between 2010 and 2014.
It is clear from the table that most of the cities have increased the prices of their coffee within
years except for Brisbane which remains their prices the same. Additionally, it is noticeable
that Sydney served the most expensive cup of coffee in both years surveyed.
In 2010, it cost over 2 dollars for people to buy a cup of coffee in Melbourne; Brisbane, and
Sydney while in Canberra and Adelaide, the price was slightly lower at 1.5 dollars and 1.87
dollars for each cup, respectively.
In 2014, Sydney pushed 20.8% of its coffee prices to 3.17 dollars a cup and became the city
that has the most pricey cup of coffee during the research period. Meanwhile, both Canberra
and Adelaide put about 6% of their patches to sell roughly 2 dollars a cup of coffee. Whereas
the figure for Perth and Brisbane were reported to be the same in that year with 2.25 dollars a
cup and Brisbane witnessed no changes in price.
