by Fayol and The Theory X and Y by McGregor.  Explain the relevance of these theories
to how schools  now are being managed and operated.

Answer:

The scientific management theory of Taylor argued that that traditional and rule of
thumb judgments should be replaced with exact methods created after a through
examination of an individual at work. Its implementation necessitates a high level of
managerial oversight of staff at work.

The 14 principle of management by Henri Fayol. They are as needed in startup firms as
they are in others, it might be argued that this is because of leading to the emerge of
various managerial style, some of these principle have been altered and redefined , but
all with the goal of making them better and more useful to organization when used each
and every organization. The importance of applying principle in their managing practice
cannot be overstated.

Those theories of Mcgregor, theory X and Y, are just us important for firms to
comprehend today as were in the past that is because in a cries like the one were I today
with covid-19, there are slew of crucial people decisions to be made school head, for a
case, must choose how to be integrate their workers in their environment , how to keep
them secure and solid, and how to advance the working environment over time.

During pandemic, we’ve already seen this, companies have boosted their monitoring of
employees compelled to work from home, as though these employees would lose interest
once they were no longer confined to workplace. However, amidst this crisis its all easy
for those in authority to crave more power and pursue it with little for people or the
inspiration of those they’re organizing.

head as instructional leader. Recommend ways on how should the school-head as

Answer: Managing a team during crisis usually entails determining what to do in the event or
weather emergency and a true leaders know how to manage their teams remotely.
Nonetheless, the lessons learned from the crisis management can also apply during this time
of pandemic. As a schools leaders we can evaluated our teachers fairly by considering some
factors: first, keep in mind that some of the teacher are never done online before, they maybe
less likely to respond quickly and decisively simply because they haven’t experienced this
catastrophe. Secondly, assist employees of teacher in working from home, some people have
work from home used video conference. Make a work from home checklist and distribute it
to everyone , or provide information on remote work best practice. And lastly, create a
communication strategy , create a website if possible that you can update and publish real
time and able to communicate with staff in a time manner.

4. The main objective of Instructional Supervision is to promote quality education And you
are the newly assigned school principal, what measures are you going to take to improve
the performance of your school? Propose an instructional supervisory plan. 

Answer: To promote quality education we should consider technological availability and


reliability in our school especially in this time of pandemic and we can also consult and
collaborate with our teams or teacher on how are we going to improve the performance of
the school. We have to make sure also the flexibility of our teachers in using distance
learning methods in module based learning, radio based learning and TV-based learning. In
this time of crisis , the teaching and learning process takes new shape in education. School
and school leaders must be resilient in the face of crisis and need to discover innovative ways
to continue the teaching and learning process.

5. Amid the new normal brought about by the COVID 19 pandemic, School leaders are
beset with many challenges especially in the aspect of Instructional Supervision. Relative
to this, discuss how should the School head supervise instruction given the different
platforms used by the teachers in teaching? Recommend ways and explain

6. During this pandemic, public and private schools are undergoing financial crises. The
scarce financial resource has always been claimed to be the foremost problem of every
school manager. If given the chance to manage a school as the principal, how would you
augment the various needs of your school considering the meager available financial
resources,  what indicators will you have in your list to be assured that your school’s
finances are being well managed? Elaborate your answer in a logical manner.

Answer: Covid -19 financial Impact looms large, regardless of these states public health. A
school leaders are like performers in a play whose story, screen play and costumes have all
changed in the middles of the performance and they must improvise to fit in the new position
like in this time of pandemic, As a school leader our responsible is manage the school
financial resources even if we have given limited funds we have to make sure that this fund
will go from the most important necessities of our school we need also a proper auditing of
our financial resources just to make sure we manage our school financial well.

7. One of the standards and principles of the K to 12 curriculum is its being Contextualized.
Articulate on how the K to 12 curriculum may be contextualized based on socio -cultural
context of your  school community . ( whether you are connected with elementary or
secondary)

Answer: Consider the flexibility into key element of teaching and learning when migrating to a
flexible modalities. The curriculum includes the recommended ,developed , taught or
implemented assessed and learned. Contextualization in teaching and learning defined as
employing items of the language in meaningful way. K-12 Curriculum may be contextualized
based on socio-cultural by the help of mother tongue subject implemented In the elementary
level in this case we will meet the standard curriculum and maintain the socio-cultural belief of
our learners.

8. The main objective of Instructional Supervision is to promote quality education.


Considering the new educational landscape in the now normal, as the School Head , how
would you supervise Instruction  in such a way that quality is ensured in basic / tertiary
education?

Answer: regarding of modality or specifics, you will almost certainly need to make some
significant changes in the way you teach or supervise: as a school head we need to find
support resources and assistant considering your benefits of assessing your teacher and
training methods and identifying ways to update and improve procedure, even if it will take a
large amount to prepare. We should also considered the administrative staff’s flexibility to
collaborate with you and approve strategies defending on possible changes. Must include
also the gibing of appropriate support on an going basis(e.g, necessary technology, physical
space and giving medical kits.

9. Conflict in an organization is not necessarily bad. Explain why you agree or disagree to
this statement? Suggest doable ways of handling organizational conflict. How useful is it
for a school manager to become proactive in his leadership style.

Answer: Conflict in the organization is not necessarily bad, in my stand it depends on the
conflict we are facing with sometimes it is just lack of communication between our
colleagues. Communication is the technique used in organization that employs people from
various background to harness individual variation among employees in order to align them
to adhered to shared them organizational culture led to the organization’s aims, missions,
goal, and objective. It is very useful to have proactive leadership style because it will balance
the healthy relationship of team and the leader remember that the true leaders does’ not
create separation, a true leader brings people together.

10. As the school head you are challenged to submit your school for the "New Brigada
Eskwela and School based Management competition. How will you meet the criteria as
the best school for the said program with a minimal budget allocation from your MOOE? 

Answer: A highly unpredictable financial landscape once school experienced crisis was
significant challenges that education leaders must face was the issue of lack or limited
resources in financial. As a school leader we must meet the criteria in the given competition
even we have limited resources we might think additional projects that we can use to earn
financial resources. We can also seek help from our stakeholders especially in the New
Brigada Eskwela project’. When it comes to SBM we can supervise our teachers and
stakeholders while doing their parts in the school based management.
