(1) Remove the Battery Pack Assembly from the Emergency Power Supply:
(a) Undo the two Dzuz fasteners on the Battery Pack Assembly.
CAUTION: BATTERY PACK MUST BE KEPT PARALLEL TO, AND LIFTED STRAIGHT AWAY FROM,
THE CHARGER ASSEMBLY. ALIGNMENT PINS CAN BE BROKEN OFF IF THE BATTERY PACK IS
LIFTED FROM ONE END.
(b) Carefully lift the Battery Pack Assembly off the Battery Charger Assembly
and remove.
(c) Place the Battery Pack Assembly in an anti-static bag or container until
required.
(2) Remove the Cover Subassembly from the Emergency Power Supply in accordance
with FIGURE 1 and TABLE 1.

(A) MAKE SURE THAT NO LESS THAN ONE CHASSIS SPIGOT THREAD IS VISIBLE WHEN NUT IS
INSTALLED.
(B) FULLY TIGHTEN NUT, LOOSEN BY 1 QUARTER TURN AND THEN RE-TIGHTEN NUT.
(C) MAKE SURE THAT THE POSITION OF THE TRANSISTOR CLIP IS IN LINE WITH THE PLASTIC SHAPE OF THE TRANSISTORS.
(D) MAKE SURE THAT THE TRANSISTORS ARE FLAT AGAINST THE THERMAL PAD ON THE WALL
AND SECURED TIGHTLY.
(5) Do a test of the Battery Charger Assembly in accordance with Page Aerospace Component
Maintenance Manual (CMM) 24-35-01.
Note: Test result refer to WMR A-24-35-01-FC/CR test section.
(6) Install the Battery Pack Assembly to the Emergency Power Supply:
(a) Carefully place the Battery Pack Assembly on the Charger Assembly and make Sure the two
plastic projections on the Battery Pack Assembly engage the two holes in the Cover Subassembly.
(b) Make sure the connector on the Battery Pack Assembly is correctly lined up with connector PL1
on the Charger Assembly.
(c) Push the Battery Pack Assembly gently to engage the connectors.
(d) Turn the two Dzus fasteners to attach the Battery Pack Assembly to the Charger Assembly.
(e) Recharge the battery pack as necessary.
(7) Mark the Emergency Power Supply label with Mod Status: AR1994 in black ink to show that this
service bulletin has been carried out.
