end the sermon but he still continued it. Elias
approaches Ibarra right after the sermon ends and

chapter 32 the hoist
Nol Juan praises the great workmanship done by the

beginning that showed the philosopher remarks.
The theme of this chapter is actually a revenge taking
justice in to your own hands. The yellowish man plan to
avenge on behalf of his father, he has planted an evil
scheme to harm Ibarra for what his grandfather did to
his father. He actually gave a hint of his plan when he
was asked by no one who's taught him skills on making
a pulley. And he mentioned Don Saturnino and Don
saturnine is known for being cruel. But unfortunately,
things didn't go according. Excuse me. According to the
yellowish man's plan, it's even worse for him because
it's like he planted his own death. Those something
happens or something happened along the way, which
will be made clear in the next chapter. But that aside
let's focus on the theme of the chapter, which is
revenge. Why do people seek or events maybe because

somewhat feel resentment towards friar Damaso who
she knows is the cost of it all. So Maria Clara actually
learned about the truth through her mother's letter.
Now regarding maria clara’s marriage with linares we
already know that she was forced to do it. she was
forced to agree, agreed to it.. So she beg friar damaso
that she doesn't want to get married anymore. Because
before, as I stated a while ago, she was forced. Okay.
And she knew when bought her was still alive. That that
