FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM 

a) Effective Fire Water Storage Tank labeling capacity is
not provided.(shall be clearly indicated on the tank wall 
in lettering a minimum height of 100 mm)                             

b) Diesel tank label capacity is not provided  

c) Fire pumps pressure setting label is not provided.  

d) Non provision of labels and directional arrows in

e) Fire sprinkler pipeline directional arrows are not   

provided @ Basement

B.  Documents to be submit   

a) Hydrostatic test pressure report.   

b) Flushing test report.   

c) Fire Pumps test report.   

d)Shaft Alignment report.   

e)Submit the updated QCDD approved products  
certificate of all life safety products provided in the 
project. 
f) Submit the  QCDD approved FFS drawings.   

MECHANICAL VENTILATION   
 

A. Basement  Ventilation System  

a) Non provision of identification mark and arrows for   
basement ventilation duct  (EAD and SAD). 
b) Fresh air fan motor installed on the Ground for the   
basement floor fresh air supply facing the road, as per 
approved MV drawing reflected facing the right hand 
wall. 

 
  

c) Non provision of labels in exhaust and fresh  air supply   
equipment’s which are  installed in the ground floor 
B. Staircases Pressurization System   

a) Installed pressurization ducts are not provided with   
insulation and cladding @ Roof floor. 
b) Non provision of smoke duct detectors in the air   
supply to the pressurized stairwell as reflected in the 
QCDD approved stair pressurization system. 
c) Non provision of sand trap louver in pressurization   
duct as reflected in the QCDD approved  with drawing 
no. MV‐08‐ General Details‐2. 
C. Exhaust Duct System   

a) Installed exhaust duct is obstruction going to   
Emergency Generator.(Roof Floor) 
D. Documents to be submit   

a) Car park ventilation test reports.   

b) Tabulated test data for static pressure differential  
(SPD) per floor (Staircase pressurization). The SPD 
reading must be at 50 Pa when all doors are closed, 25 
Pa if one door is open, and 12.5 Pa for three doors open. 
c) Submit the  QCDD approved MV drawings.   

ELEVATOR/ LIFT   

a) Lifts shall be provided with safety instructions inside   
the cabin. 
b)” In case of Fire Do not Use Lift” in Arabic/English
