LESSON PLAN IN SCIENCE

I. Objectives:
At the end of the period the students are expected to;
a. know the 5 basic body senses and its importance
b. Identify each 5 senses and their corresponding body parts, and;
c. Apply and connect the use of 5 senses and its corresponding body parts in a
certain objects and situations.

II. Subject Matter:


A. Topic : The 5 senses and their corresponding body parts.
B. Reference : https://kidskonnect.com/science/sense-organs/
C. Materials: Ppt, Instructional materials, pictures and videos.
D. Skills: Environmental Awareness and adaptation skills also decision
making skills.
E. Values: Life balance and exercise gratefulness attitude.

III. Procedures:

A. Review
The teachers will ask the students about their previous topic.
“The different parts of plants”
She will ask the students about what they have learned and what they have
remember. After that, The teacher will recall the important part of the topic by showing
a picture.

B. Motivation
The teacher will shows different pictures. And ask the students.
 What can you see in the pictures?
 How will you describe the pictures?
 What body parts did you use to describe that pictures?
C. Lesson Proper
 The teacher will connect those pictures to the topic.
 The teacher will discuss the 5 senses and their corresponding body parts
using variety of pictures to the students.
 The teacher will explain the importance of 5 senses on our

 When we hear that someone is singing what senses do we used?
 What is the corresponding body parts of smell?
 When we fell that the ice is cold what sense we used?
 When we eat ice cream what is the sense that we need?
 Why do you think our body senses is important?

V. Assignment

Draw Me!
Instructions: (Ask for you parents help) In your notebook, draw anything that you
wanted. It could be food, objects and situations. And ask your parents what senses you
will be using in your artwork that you draw. Ask them to explain why.
