Мета уроку:
- введення нових лексичних одиниць та граматичного матеріалу до теми “Games”;
- розвивати творчі здібності, розвивати навички читання, письма, усного мовлення,
уміння в аудіюванні тексту;
- стимулювати комунікативну-пізнавальну діяльність дітей;
- стимулювати бажання учнів спілкуватися англійською мовою;
- розширити знання учнів про культуру та захоплення дітей іншої країни;
- формувати позитивні риси характеру,уміння слухати і поважати думку
- виховувати позитивне ставлення до іноземної мови.
Обладнання
book “Family&Friends 1 ”,Workbook, cards with tasks, flashcards, video, audio.
Хід уроку:
I. Introduction.
Good morning, dear children! Sit down, please. How are you today? Are you ready to start
our lesson?
The topic of our lesson is “Games. Where’s the ball? ”
II. Warming-up.
Look at the board and now we’ll read the poem together.
What a happy day today!
Boys and girls are very gay!
They dance and play.
What a happy, happy day!

Listen and repeat. seesaw, slide, net, swing, tree
3. Teacher holds up flashcards for individual children and they say the words.
4. Children do Ex. 2. Listen and chant. Repeat (more than once if necessary). Transcript
seesaw, seesaw, seesaw slide, slide, slide net, net, net swing, swing, swing tree, tree, tree
IV. Listening and reading.
1. Listening. Pupils do Ex.3 from their books. Use Story poster 5 to present the story. Ask
children to name as many things in the pictures as they can. And now children we’ll watch
the video of this story.(video 2)
2 Reading. Activity “ Superstar + name”
One pupil shouts “superstar” plus name of someone in a class and this person continues to
read. ( Olia you are a superstar now. Read please.)
3.Activity “ Oh-La-La/ Excuse me?
Teacher reads the story. Children must be attentive.When they hear a mistake, they must say
“Oh-La-La/ Excuse me? and correct the mistake.
V. Physical activity
Children look at screen and repeat after the children. “ Head, shoulders, knees and toes…”

VI. Grammar
1.Put a pen on top of your bag. Ask Where's the pen? It's on the bag. Repeat, placing the pen
inside the bag, then underneath it, to elicit It's in the bag and It's under the
bag.
2. On the board, write Where's the ball? followed by three answers with flashcards for the
final words, i.e. It's in the (net flashcard). It's on the (slide flashcard). It's under the
(seesaw flashcard).
3.Children watch the video and sing the song about prepositions. (video 4)
VII. Writing
• Look at the blackboard and try to remember these words: on in under. Now your task look
at the pictures and complete the sentences.
•Read the sentences and draw where the ball, the teddy, the car, the train is.
