Narrative Report on Brigada Eskwela 2022

Brigada Eskwela is a yearly program of the Department of Education with the theme
"Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na Balik Aral" that aims to bring together all education stakeholders
to participate and contribute their time, effort and resources to prepare public schools facilities
for the opening school year.

OPOL NATIONAL SECONDARY TECHNICAL SCHOOL (ONSTS) adopted and
actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela (BE) from August 01, 2022 to August 26, 2022 in
preparation for the opening of classes on August 22, 2022. ONSTS has successfully
implemented the program with the support of the stakeholders, Barangay Officials, LGU Opol,
Provincial Government, Non - Government Offices (NGO's) and Private Individuals. ONSTS
has received various donations in kind and in cash from different sectors and individuals. The
highlight of this years's Brigada Eskwela in Brigada Pagbasa an after school reading program in
response to Hamon: Bawat Bata Bumabasa or DepEd 3B Initiative Issued under DM 173, s.
2019. It aims to synergize education - related endeavours that immediately addresses literacy and
numeracy learning gaps.
The following are the activities during the Brigada Eskwela:
1. Cleaning of Cleaning Area and Classroom
2. Pruning and Trimming of Trees/Plants/Grass in our assigned area
3. Repairing, Repainting, Cleaning of Classrooms
4. Repainting/landscaping of cleaning area/assigned area
5. Dredging of canals and
6. Administered in-person during Enrollment Period
7. Implements the Brigada Pagbasa particularly in English, Filipino, and Math Subjects

Brigada Eskwela is anchored with unity, collaboration, and love for our school and the
learners and it focuses on addressing the challenges and learning resource gaps of learners for
face-to-face classes, which shall be fully implemented in all public schools nationwide by
November 02, 2022.
