B. Motivation/Review
Now, before we proceed to our proper discussion. Let’s have a short

C. Discussion
Our topic for today which is “Adjectives”. The
words you say about the pencils called adjectives.
• Adjectives are words that describe a noun or pronoun.
• Adjectives may come before the noun that it describes or
after the be-verbs am, is and are.

An adjective is a word that generally modifies a noun or noun phrase


or describes its referent. Its semantic role is to change information
given by the noun.

Adjectives are usually placed before the nouns they describe, as in


the examples, tall man and easy assignment, above. Adjectives may
also follow the noun they describe.
