10.00am-11.30am Introduce operation of robot accessories. Setup robot development tools. Practice on Mikro C Compiler. Practice on types of DC motor drivers and actuators. 11.30am-11.45am Break 11.45am-1.00pm Brief on PIC ADC and types of analogue sensors. Project 1: Charge battery and detect voltage of the battery. 1.00pm-2.00pm Lunch (Included) 2.00pm-3.00pm Brief on types of obstacle robots and their operation. Project 2: Design an explorer robot with obstacle detection. Enhance the obstacle robot with holes detection. 3.00pm-3.15pm Break 3.15pm-5.00pm Brief on types of motor speed control methods. Apply PWM method for motor speed control. Project 3: Design an obstacle robot with speed control. 1. 2. 3. 4.

Day 2
10.00am-11.30am Brief on PIC serial interfacing. Connect and setup XBee wireless module. Practice on transmit and receive data using XBee module. 11.30am-11.45am Break 11.45am-1.00pm Study on XBee bi-direction wireless control. Project 4: Use XBee wireless module to control explorer robot. Enhance the explorer robot with temperature and brightness feedback. 1.00pm-2.00pm Lunch (Included) 2.00pm-3.45pm Understand interrupt detection. Decode PWM output from 2.4GHz RF receiver module. Project 5: Control a wireless robot using 2.4GHz RF receiver. Enhance the robot with speed control. 3.45pm-4.00pm Break 4.00pm-5.00pm Study operation of line follower robot. Project 6: Design line follower robot.
